You can thank FFNet for being Nazi bastards who have no idea what quality control is. They won't allow tasteful smut here, but they allow pieces of crap to float all over the place. What do I write, baby? Crack pairings, that's what. I like reading Zutara, Kataang, other pairings, and slash/yuri (as long as they're all well written) but I love writing crack for the challenge! It's just fun to create crazy pairings, you know it is. And for me, there's a thrill in writing crack.
If you want to flame me or scream at me for writing odd pairings...see if I care. No matter how odd my pairings are, I work hard on them and they are better than any of the following work that I see plenty of here...
1. shitty Avatar Sue/Sparklypoo Sues with 1337 _bending powers or Second Avatars or Aang's long lost sister or some shit.
2. 'how I landed in the Avatarverse and then Sokka and/or Zuko and/or Aang fall in wuuuuuuv with me and i have 1337 skillz and omfg gorgeous looks!'
3. unrealistically written stories where the canon characters are horribly OOC where Zuko is some emo angsty pussy, Katara is a PMS bitch, Aang has ADHD, and Iroh does nothing but drink tea.
4. stories that show a utter and wanton disregard to the rules of grammar and proper English.
These clutter up the ATLA archive here and waste space. These kinds of stories take up pretty much like 90 percent of the space here (what a sad waste) and my worst writing is still a hundred times better than any of these stories, so there! In my list of favorites you can find QUALITY work that will not burn your eyes out upon reading. I am thankful for the Pantheon for their wonderful work and encourage them to do whatever they must to clean out the fandoms of the disgusting Sues and poor writing!
And if you want to flame me because you think what I write is disgusting - FUCK YOU. No one is making you read my stuff and I label it accordingly so if you ignore the warnings and go on to read it and feel disgusted - IT IS YOUR OWN FAULT! I work hard at my writing and I frankly do not care if you don't like crackpairings (like I said, I label them clearly and no one is making you read them), and if you flame me you will only be encouraging me to write more. I mock and laugh at all of you flamers. Ignorant fools!
