When I started this I meant to just have 3 stories up at time, work on them all, and have them done in a year. Pardon me while I try to figure out 'What the F--!' happened to that idea.

6/18/2008 Some of you may have noticed that APT 8 was replaced with the edited SLK 9 at around 5am on the 15th. That got fixed after a nice reviewer left me a note saying such. Now, what it is you want to hear. SLK 10 is up! APT 9 has the first two pages done -- "Camo goes to WEI". D5 has three pages typed -- Iruka takes the boys shopping. “Normally I wouldn’t open this drawer with other people in the room, but you’re not a nosy coworker and I suppose you’re old enough for this kind of thing now.” Hojo removed a stack of magazines from the drawer. “Let’s see, June, July, September. All right then, August goes here.”
Sephiroth’s heart thudded. His eyes froze in place, unable to look away. Hojo locked the drawer and stood up. “Well, if you ever find yourself needing a little… entertainment, you can come to me. I’ll lend you the key.”
Sephiroth took a shaky step backwards. It was everything he could do not to gape.
“Oh, don’t look so shocked,” Hojo snapped. “I’m a man like any other. I have needs.”
Sephiroth didn’t stop running till he got to his apartment and he spent the next three hours in his bathtub, hosing and scrubbing.

He looked over at the brooding Uchiha and flipped him off, showing his clawed nail for a moment before it disappeared back into his sleeve. The slight glimpse was the final hint he would give Kakashi, and the man would be on his own now. Zabuza had also felt the angst wave, and snickered a little at the Sorceress’ reaction to it. Haku was shuffling through his backpack looking for some black nail polish and black lipstick, obviously having been temporarily converted to the ‘Dark Side’ from the overpowering emo-ness. A quick slap to the back of his head brought him out of it right before he was could belt out a heart-warming (or wrist-cutting) rendition of “Crawling in my Skin”.

This thought was the final straw, and Naruto tugged at Zabuza’s arm to get him to back away from the Uchiha. Sasuke’s Brooding Black Cloud of Doom that was hovering over his head exploded, causing a physical backlash to ripple through the entire area, breaking windows, changing radio stations to the All Day Linkin Park Broadcast, and halting his stampede in its tracks. The Yamanaka Flower Shop was, thankfully, protected against such occurrences since before the Uchiha Massacre, making one wonder if perhaps Itachi was pushed over the edge by his fanpeople…

Where fanfic is concerned I LOVE: CROSSOVERS, Slash, Mpreg (karma baby!), Decently written creature fics (mainly applies to HP but also some Naruto), and Kitty!Harry. Yes, you read that right. BEWDS has a good Kitty!Harry up and I've seen at least three (1, 2, 3) others on the site that are well written. I also have a thing for cross dresser Harry. If you know of a decent story, PM me please. These are damn hard to find surprisingly.
Fanfic things I HATE: het/yuri fics. I have no problem IRL but seeing it written just does nothing for me. Hells, IRL I couldn't give a damn if you do the neighbor's dog, you don't pry into my life I don't pry into yours. Goth!Harry, hells, Goth!Anybody- it is overused and tends to be just a slap on way to make the character different. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, EXPLAIN THE DAMN CHANGE! AND I MEAN IN MORE THAN JUST "SOMETHING HAPPENED THIS SUMMER"!! If you find you must do extraordinary changes to the canon character's persona, give a damn good reason with supporting facts and MAKE IT BELIEVEABLE!!
And I feel the need to post this now: Feel free to flame me, I don't care. (Flame Clause: Any and All flames are subject to being read, ridiculed, and posted for all to see your stupidity.)

This is just a little something that I believe concerning Harry Potter and Naruto crossovers. I don't think chakra and magic are the same and I won't portray them as such in any of my crosses. I was reading "Phoenix Flight" by Caliko when this jumped out and said - "Yes! This is it!" So, I figured I'd post the snippet and maybe you can understand my reasoning.
Dumbledore leaned back, thinking. “Close. The two can mimic the same results, of course. However, there is one major difference that tells me that they are different. With chakra, almost anyone with the correct training may use it, and everyone has it. A living being may increase their reserves by keeping both their mind and their body fit. However, it is mainly used for defense and offense. Magic, on the other hand, is a trait that is selective. Simply being alive does not guarantee it’s presence, and the wizards reserves only increase with age. It is more versatile, as well. It may create, clean, defend, attack, amuse, as well as track. Wizards and witches incorporate magic into every moment of their lives, which is why someone without magic, like your mother, would never be happy in our world.”

-Harry is not stupid nor meek. He has a spine and brains, he uses them to his advantage dealing with Xanatos.
-Xanatos is not stupid. He uses Harry's needs to his advantage.
-Xanatos takes Harry under his wing. Xanatos must provide Harry with a good non-magical education.
-Harry eventually meets the Gargoyles. As long as he isn't a Stonemason his relationship with them is up to you.
-Slash or no relationship (I would LOVE to see a Puck/Harry relationship)
-OCs are okay as long as they aren't Mary/Gary Stus.
-Everything else is up to you. Have fun.

-Harry makes his way into the FF7 universe
-Harry joins the ShinRa army with either Zack or Cloud at the beginning of their career
-Harry has a successful career, whether he goes TURK or SOLDIER is up to you

-Harry is not some dainty little flower. He's a SOLDIER, have him act like one. With Hojo around, a little flower would be stomped out with a great deal of prejudice.

-Harry is a Chimera (this is a real medical condition where one person is born with two sets of DNA) it reacts with the Death Veil and he is spit back out the otherside however--
-Two Identical Harrys! - Including BOTH ARE THE BWL!
-Harry No. 1 (Original) is Gryffindor while Harry No. 2 is (eventually) Slytherin
-At first they act like mirror images but with time Harry 2 develops his own personality (Slytherin, Dark, Gray, Passionate or Apathetic, left handed, it is all up to you)
-The Harrys are ultimately loyal to each other above any others.
-Anything else is up to you. How canon is it, is Dumbles good or bad, is Voldemort good or bad, does Harry No. 1 wind up going Dark? That is all you.
Naruto
-Iruka has an Identical Twin Brother (here on named Kajiki - actual name up to you).
-Both boys have the nose scar. How is up to you.
-Iruka and his family are originally from Mist. They moved to Konoha at the start of the Bloodline Eradication when the boys were young.
-While fleeing Kajiki is separated from his family and they are unable to retrieve him.
-Kajiki is a Mist jounin sent on a diplomatic mission to Konoha where Iruka and he meet again.
-Iruka gives Kajiki a black eye at the reunion. (-Bonus points if you give Kajiki two)
-Iruka is not a little uke pansy. He teaches large classes of hyperactive little ankle biters how to use sharp pointy objects and chakra to cause bodily harm. He is NOT a pansy.
-Kajiki is a shameless pervert and flirt. He is also straight as a board. Iruka is almost painfully in the closet and has sexuality issues, especially with the straight identical twin.
-Kajiki tries to set his brother up with females until finally Iruka snaps and admits his preference. Kajiki continues on his quest to set up his brother, this time focused on the men.
-Iruka has problems with this for understandable reasons.
-Iruka eventually hooks up with a male of your choice.
-Iruka must become a jounin (tokubetsu or full up to you). Tokubetsu - a specialized jounin, not a rounded one (Anko is a tokubetsu jounin specializing in torture / information gathering while Kakashi is a standard well rounded jounin).
