Author has written 14 stories for CSI.

I hate talking about myself! A lot! I remember when I was younger, and I was in Girl Scouts. We had to do this one badge, where we had to sit in the center of a circle, and have everyone tell us something positive about us... for someone who hates being the center of attention, it was rough... and it just reminded me of how much I really hate sharing anything about myself!

So here I go. Ready? I am a twenty-five year old female from New York State, in the United States. I have a BA in history, an MS in special education, and I will be starting on my Ph.D in cultural foundation of education, this coming August. I work for a non-profit agency in my community, as a day habilitation counselor. Basically, I take adults with developmental disabilities out into the community, and help them learn some of the skills that will help them later on in life (reading, writing, self-advocacy, etc.). Even though I am a certified social studies and special education teacher, I love my job, and can't imagine doing anything else!

As for writing, well... I have always loved it. When I was in 8th grade, I was a teen editor for blue jean magazine, which was a magazine for young women (although completely different from Teen or Seventeen. Blue jean did not cover beauty or fashion tips, but rather, focussed on helping young women become more empowered). Blue jean was perhaps one of the best experiences of my life, and it gave me the opportunity to do some things that I never would have been able to do, otherwise. Other than blue jean, I was on the Board of Contributors for my local newspaper, and involved with the newspaper at my college. I hope to write a book someday, although... it will probably be more non-fiction than anything! You never know, though, right?

If you decide that you like my writing, check out QuothZan. QTR is a friend of mine, and we decided to write a fic together. Our writing styles are very similar, and we work well together!

Hmm... I guess that's really it! I love getting feedback (positive or negative), so please feel free to drop me an e-mail!

I hope you enjoy my fics!

Janet
