My favorite color is and always will be purple. But not the peppy, close to pink kind. The cool kind.

The name paintupurple originated several years ago, back when Xanga was cool, haha. It wanted it to be something like "paint the sky purple" or "purple paint" or something. xD But all of the ones I thought of were taken. T-T So I came up with paintupurple. And it has been a username for many a website, though recently I've been making usernames like MomoCullen, or momo4peaches, stuff like that. And that is my epic rant on usernames, lol.

I love NARUTO. I know everything there is to know about it. Go ahead. Quiz me. :)

I'm hopelessly addicted to fanfiction. Partly because I'm a daydreamer and it helps to know that I'm not the only one out there who thinks these crazy things (it actually frightens me that there are people who go way further than me in certain areas...).

I used to think I was hopeless at fanfiction myself (it took a while to get used to not having my own characters and refraining from making them OOC, but I actually like the challenge), but I've got a fairly new story going right now and people seem to love it! =D That makes me a happy camper.

So far I've been sticking to Legion of Superheroes fics because the bigger communities like Naruto and Harry Potter, quite frankly, scare me. xD But now that I'm getting more comfortable with writing fanfiction, I might just try my hand at them.

I am also a yaoi fangirl. Completely. You. Have. No. Idea. My favorite pairings: Draco/Harry, Naru/Sasu, Brainy/Superman, Brainy/Lyle, and Static/Gear.

If you don't like that kinda stuff, hey, don't read most of my stories, cuz a lot will have boy/boy loveliness. That's not all I like, of course; I like your basic hetero pairings too, just, you know... not as much, haha. I used to be all about the Sasu/Saku and Ron/Hermoine and Garth/Imra stuff, but the yaoi community eventually won me over to the dark side. Hey, I don't mind being on the dark side. We have Malfoy. Dark side: 1, light side: 0.

For all you people out there who don't tolerate gays, I would like to quote one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands when I say: "Why can't we see that when we bleed, we bleed the same?"

I draw a lot, it's a favorite past time of mine. And I love to swim! I'm pretty good at the butterfly if I may say so myself. ;)

I want to publish a novel before I finish high school; seeing as I'm already a junior and am overloaded with homework from my AP classes, I have some doubts about whether or not that goal can be reached, but I'll try my best!
