Kitsune has been dealing with personal matters that are really uninteresting and unfun to relate. She will not go into detail, but she is mostly back and should be updating soon.

Kitsune thanks those who have read and especially those have reviewed her stories. She extends her apologies to those who have been wanting updates and waiting. She hopes to have updates to Every Day Is Real Boutish soon, and Pet Shop Beats within a few months. She is also starting a new story. So she apologizes for no updates and future slow updates as she gets things back in order. Thank you.

Behind the Pen

--- The Girl

Harlequin Kitsune is really a shy, average girl of eighteen by the name of Samantha Fagan, though she much more often goes by the name of Samma.She entering University of South Florida in the Honors College soon. She loves to write, though she often does so in others' uninerses with original characters and rarely shares those with any besides her friends. Between a pair of novels, she likes to break writer's blocks with OC fanfictions and challenges herself with strictly canon fanfictions when she finds herself fed up with her other writing.

--- The Strengths of the Pen

Kitsune has taken many Creative Writing classes and has almost finished developing her personal style. She has been writing seriously for four years now, and plans on double-majoring in English and Creative Writing, to be that cool English teacher that writes awesome fantasy novels on the side, much like her current English teacher. She can bring ideas through well, and excels in prose (though she wins more awards for her poetry, which she doesn't understand).

--- The Weaknesses of the Pen

Kitsune has a tendency to not finish what she starts, and gets fed up easily. Because she has humility in the way of a fault, she often believes her work to be horrible, and for that reason will rarely follow through with what she starts. If she gets whapped over the head often enough, though, she can be convinced to finish. She often tends to gloss over what she thinks people should know already, something which will probably show through glaringly in her fanfiction, as she will probably neglect descriptions.She is also horrible at reviewing, her own work or the work of others. Thus, her work may have some holes that she missed because of this, and she might be bad at leaving reviews, so she apologizes.

--- Current Work

Every Day is Real-Boutish!

Kitsune's first fanfiction that includes no original characters. Yet. Several characters not seen in the manga or anime may pop up for plot's sake, and one or two may stay through the work, but they are not so much original characters as helpful to pushing the plot along. Romantic pairings are vague, and while several are bound to happen, Kitsune is not quite sure which ones will take over the others. She swears that it will not be Hitomi x Ryoko, though.

Kitsune writes this fanfiction during school in a notebook, and types it up, and apologizes for any mistakes she misses. She hopes to take this all the way through the gang's senior years, with definate appearances from the rest of the Shinsengumi and maybe even some interaction with Tatsuya and Azumi. It will have its slow points, but it will still be packed with K-fights and wackiness. Kitsune hopes everyone will like it.

Pet Shop Beats

The Kitsune's newest fanfiction stars the newest Count D and Christopher Orcott. Though Leon has passed away and the Count D we have come to know and love watches us from the sky, Chris takes up the investigation against D's son. But he has a very different motive than Leon had at first, as he has found himself quite head over heels for D. This D is also more passive than his ancestors, though his sweet tooth remains. While Chris invesitages crimes he already knows the answers to, finding only the motives from D, he finds out more and more about the human heart, while teaching D the same. They are watched, however, by D's newest pet, a kitsune reluctant to be in D's grasp, going by the name of Sonzai.

The Kitsune knows vaugly where this is going (that is, she knows the end), but has not worked out entirely how to get there. Each chapter will come as it will, and she hopes she provides a nice sequal to the series she was sad to see end.

Asunder

The Kitsune's newest new fanfiction, exploring more into the character of her dear Ratonga on the Antonia Bayle roleplay server. She is always looking for more to have cameos in her story that aren't just her own characters, so give a shout to Karis if you're up for some roleplaying on Antonia Bayle. This story takes her across Norrath and hopefully entertains while giving the Kitsune a better grasp on roleplaying.

The Kitsune has several plot points worked out, but is still designing how to get to them, but this work should be updated as often as she plays the game, which is currently a lot.

For But A Drop Of Myrrh

The Kitsune's newest newest fanfiction, based on the popular Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles game, which she just got. Pont'Ta, a small town on the Tipa Peninsula, located near the Miasma Stream, has two new adventurers to join their two seasoned heroes. The young twins, just reaching adulthood, take the place of one retiring caravanner, and find they have a good deal of growing up to do yet.

The end is worked out and some of the middle, and it should be a shorter work... sort of. She hopes it is well received.

For But A Drop of Myrrh: A Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles story of a small town on the Tipa peninsula, and its small caravan. With two new heroes and two seasoned adventuruers, the chronicles of this tale see two children grow in their attempts to save their village.

--- Current Non-FF.net Work

Kitsune is working on two novels, Prophecy's Cry and ShadowScape. The first is a prequel to the second, but she is unsure which one she will release first when she completes these. She is currently withholding the plot until she gets further into the novels.

In her spare time, Kitsune works on polishing more her favorite short story, "Tiny Door," which can be found at her account onFictionpress.com, and writing poetry, about five percent of which is ever read by another. Her account there is of the same name as the account here.
