Hi and thank you for taking the time to read my profile info, such as it is.

Well, my fandom name is, obviously, Renenet, but friends call me Ren to save their typing fingers.

I live in Croatia. My passions and interests are geosciences (profession), astronomy, archaeology, teaching, etc...

I've stumbled into online SG-1 fandom in 2002. after spending previous time in the galaxy far, far away, a.k.a. Star Wars Universe. Already being in love with the SG-Movie, it was easy falling in love with the TV show, too.

I started out as a gen-fan, then slowly spread my wings into slashy zone. I'm primarily a classic-team AND Daniel&Jack fan, be it in friends-only or romantic combination. If I had to choose between those two (and I really wouldn't want to), I guess I'd be a Daniel-fan, seeing as he's the character who stole my heart back in the Movie-days. As far as het/ship goes, it's not my everyday read, but lately I've been known to enjoy a good Daniel/Vala story, as well as some other combinations. The only pairing I actively try to avoid is Jack/Sam simply because I don't see it as a viable option, even in the Show itself (sorry, TPTBs :P) As for the cannon relationships - bring 'em on:)

I'm one of those weird people who read almost everything - gen, slash and het - in any and all situations, ranging from silly humor to angsty drama. I do prefer H/C, drama, angst and action/adventure, but really, I read all that catches my eye. I also like to stay and play in Little Daniel Universe.

I have been writing FF since I was ten years old, not knowing it was called that. I have a huge hutch of plot bunnies, but very little time to play with them all. So, I don't write as nearly as much as I'd like, but it's one of the things that keep me sane in the RL. SG-Fandom has given me wonderful friends and an online home, and I plan to settle and stay here for duration.

My motto is to enjoy what I like in the SG-cyberspace, and let others do the same.

Any polite, civilized comment/feedback/suggestion is very much appreciated and more than welcome, and I promise to reply to each and every one of them. If you just need to brainstorm a story idea with someone - my inbox is always open :) Just beware, I have a tendency to unleash rabid plot bunnies to unsuspecting Tau'ri.
