Yeah I decided to update this a little for no real apparent reason. There isn't much to tell though. I never thought I'd actually type up stories and post them on a site. I love writing things, just not essays and stuff on the same line as that for school. I love having the freedom to express myself and be creative. The only thing I find bad about writing fanfics is that if they are based on anime/manga, I haven't seen too many or finished them completely. I am sometimes fearful that my ideas go way off track from the anime/manga and will be flamed. Another thing would be using something in the wrong context that I've only read about from reading things off the web. I guess all in all it really doesn't matter since it is a fanfic and I don't really have to be (or should be) completely true to what I'm basing my story on. That would be plagiarism.
My Current Favorite Anime/Manga:
Naruto: This is one of the anime/manga I haven't seen/read all the way to where it currently is. Living in the U.S I do watched the dubbed episodes, which I know are usually way worse than watching the subbed episodes, but what can you do? I do know that I can watch/read the actual subbed anime/manga, but I really don't have the time and patience to do that. I may eventually, but for right now, the dubbed ones are okay. I know I should take the time to read/watch them, but being in highschool and my friends are a little more important to me. Sorry. Plus writing fiction(s) takes up some time too. I may start reading the manga online soon, but that depends on time.
Bleach: This is basically the same situation as above with the "Naruto" series. I think that I'm going to read this one first, one reason being it seems slightly shorter than the other, among other reasons. I found this anime while watching tv, previews of it being on. My friend whose cousin and uncle are kind of anime/manga junkies think I'll like this, and I already do from what I've seen. Who knows, if I get through this all, maybe I'll start a fan fiction of it as well. Expand my talents from my lonely single fic. So keep on the look out for that!
My Stories:
Ivory And Ebony: My first Naruto fiction, and my first fiction period. Since I'm not updated on every current happening in this manga/anime, I placed it a couple years after the time skip. Some of what I write may not be totally on lines with the actual story, but that's why it is a fiction. The reason I did a SasuHina pairing was because I was looking at pictures one day and saw them paired on a picture and it inspired me. Plus I never really saw any SasuHina pairings in fictions before (mostly because I've never looked that hard XP). I also like the fact that they are similar in the whole being quiet and having a doujutsu. Plus I also like the NaruSaku pairing and the other cannon pairings (ie: InoShika, NejiTenten). Yeah, I'm a great procrastinator at other things so my fiction has been the thing suffering. Chapter Twenty is U-P up! Yay! Have fun reading it. Next chapter will be on it's way soon! (30/09/07)
A Fan, A Flame, And A Grain Of Sand: My second fic, Naruto based. I've been planning to start a new fic for a while now, and I thought it would be "To Corrupt An Angel," but I continued to get writer's block when I worked on it. This one is going to be a SasuHinaGaara pairing. Reasons being one: I've wanted to do this pairing, and two: one of the comments on "I&E" (by winterkayuga) finally inspired me to start it. I'm hoping to work on chapters in my free time which is limited with my senior year of high school and general procrastination. But of course I will be splitting my time between this one and my first. I'm getting sort of writer's blocked on that one, so hopefully this will help all get through the straits when I can't update my first fic. So keep a look out for both updates, if you are interested in either of course. Updated my third fic, so this is next on the list! Yay! (30/11/07)
To Corrupt An Angel: This will be my third Naruto fic, and it'll still be in a "real life" setting. I just need to continue to give it more thought. This title may change or be used for a different fic. The pairings are still changing in my head, but I still think it'll be ItaHinaSasu. I'm not sure when I'll actually be starting this. The beginning is giving my a heck of a time to come up with something I like. If not up in the next couple of months, I'll probably be shooting for over the summer. (07/04/07)
Puzzling Love: This is my first Pucca based fan fiction. Huzzah! I fell in love with this show during summer, and after reading some fics on it, and even before then, I wanted to write my own. Yay! The pairings are cannon: PuccaXGaru, maybe ChingXAbyo, but I don't want to focus on them so much. This is set in the future, their teen years, hoorah. And of course I'll be giving the general story my own twist and flair! I have maybe the first five or so chapters planned out, and depending on if I get inspired and if its really liked I'll continue it. If I can't think of anything but its still liked, maybe a new one will be on the horizon after this one is finished. But so far it only has the Prologue and Chapter One. Chapter Two will be on the way as soon as I update one or both of my other fics. Keep an eye out for it! (30/11/07)
(No Title Yet): I'm thinking of a "Cowboy Bebop" fiction in honor of my friend (Emma Jaye Roslin) who loves that anime. I have seen every episode of this one (dubbed not subbed), and so has my friend (both I think). She really likes Faye Valentine, so if I do a fiction it will most likely be Faye-centric. I do have an idea of where I want this to go finally. I need a good title and some more inspiration and I can get this fic on a roll. I'm excited considering it'll be my first non-Naruto fic! So keep a look out for this one as well. (07/04/07)
