I’m a Brit from a nondescript Midlands city that you've probably never heard of who, having lurked about ff.net sending anonymous reviews for some time, finally plucked up the courage to start posting here a few years ago, even though I’ve been writing fanfiction for much longer. I won’t deny that I have a big weakness for slash, but I don’t read/write it exclusively - I appreciate anything that has good characterisation, solid plotting, originality and wit. Oh, and grammar and spelling are absolute musts. At the moment, I’m playing in the Sky High fandom, however, real life keeps interfering with my precious writing time, so only the most hopelessly optimistic would be expecting any multi-chaptered fics from me any time soon. In fact, given that I obsessively draft, re-draft and re-re-draft before I even dream of thinking of considering putting anything on this site, it's a wonder I manage to post at all! Update (29 Sept 2009): I went off travelling the world in 2008 and disappeared from the fanfic scene. I really did love Sky High, but I'm afraid to say, my heart just isn’t in it any more, so it is highly unlikely (though I will never say never) that I'll be writing in that fandom again. The plot bunnies that I planned to release on my return home just stopped bouncing and I started concentrating more on my original fiction. Well, until I got a brand new obsession, that is. Axis Powers Hetalia to be precise. An often demented, sometimes deeply politically-insensitive, anime featuring very pretty boys in uniform as anthromorphic personifications of world nations. They are just so pretty, and there’s barely disguised (and sometimes explicit) slash all over the place. Needless to say, this fangirl was instantly hooked.
