Approaching the end of my undergrad studies! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Long live Batman: The Animated Series, it's mixture of film-noir, forties and fifties fetishes and complexity and originality in both script, character development, social context (commentary and satire) and art stands as the masterpiece in animation of the ninties, hands down! Other childhood favorites that have seeped into my fascination include X-Men Evolution, Spider-Man, and Batman Beyond.

I also enjoy a handful of mangas and animes, among the list includes Gundam Wing, despite it's mixed reivews, I find it's storyline - asides from some of the dated, rather obvious political implications - dealing with modern human desire and sexuality to be a compelling piece of work that seemed a bit daring with it's rather palpable dialouge and progessive thinking art style. In the vein of its predecessor, Gundam 00 has become an insightful anime built on political discourse and personal rage, topped off with some stunning animation that is nothing short of captivating.

My non-animation taste includes anything by Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson and Michel Gondry, as well as television shows such as The Office and Flight of the Concords.

A good fan fic to me gives insight onto one viewer's depiction of how an event took place. My greatest pleasure in both reading and writing is the insight. AU stories are somewhat digestable as long as purpose is served, though I usually find the setting around is what makes each character unique in their niche and removing that environment removes the characteristics and development of a character.

Asides from the already mentioned, I also enjoy days of relaxation, yoga and playing Wii!
