I guess this is where I'm supposed to tell you about myself, so here goes:
I'm thirty-two years old, happily married to an Officer in the US Army. We have three boys, ages 7, 5 & 5 (twins) Currently we live in Texas, just outside beautiful Dallas, TX. We'll be moving soon to Georgia, though. Mostly I'm a stay-home mom, which is how I have time to read so much fanfic, but I also work sometimes as as substitute teacher.
I love romantic fic, as long as it's not too graphic, and I HATE slash in all its forms. I don't have a problem with gay characters (or real gay people, for that matter) but I hate when writers take characters that are canonically straight, and make them gay.
My favorite fandoms currently are Due South and Danny Phantom. Yes, I know I'm more than twice Danny's age, but I can't help it. That show rocks! I also enjoy Kim Possible, Daria, and Fairly Oddparents stories (What? I'm a mom, I can watch cartoons if I want. I can call it research to see if the show is appropriate for my kids) I've also started reading some Monk stories, especially Monk/Natalie stories.
I've just started writing stories of my own. I've got one listed, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", a Due South fic. I've got ideas for a few more, one a Due South oneshot, and a couple of Danny Phantom oneshots.
