A little bit about my writing, if you're bored and have nothing else to read:
I write a lot of drabbles and one-shots, even though I have a million plot bunnies in my head for chaptered stories; I just have a hard time finishing them. (I've got the attention span of...a peanut.)
I like to use metaphors and personification, rarely similes.
I'm a perfectionist.
I read a lot more than I write.
I enjoy angst, drama, romance, tragicomedy, and I absolutely love AU stories for a reason that is beyond me. (There are limitations, of course; for example, I don't enjoy Harry-as-a-girl stories.)
Music inspires everything I write. It is impossible to think without it.
I've been writing fanfiction since May 2005, and let us take a special moment to thank everything out there that my writing has improved since then.
Details do matter.
I am a slow writer. Like, crazy slow. And I don't post any story until it's finished nowadays, which means it may take months for any of my chaptered stuff to be published. Reason for this? If I post it before it's finished, I totally lose my muse.
My stories are under constant revision because I always find something wrong with them.
Just the thought of my earliest stories makes my face contort bizarrely. However, I do acknowledge that I had to write them before I could write the stories I really am proud of, and the encouraging reviews written for those stories meant a great deal to a self-conscious kid who was just testing the waters.

Am currently reading: Thor and The Avengers

Fictional Books I Recommend:
Blueeyedboy by Joanne Harris (although, to be honest, I found the ending a bit weak)
Idlewild by Nick Sagan
1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell
Nightlight: A Parody by The Harvard Lampoon
Android Karenina by Ben H. Winters and Leo Tolstoy
Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist (movie is fantastic also, but cuts down on the creepiness - read the book for the real deal)
Bright Shiny Morning by James Frey
