Well, I'm a very big fan of anime. Fav is Gundam Seed Destiny. I also love LOTR.
Fav movies: LotR trilogy, Spirited Away, Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquerer of Shambala, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Blood Diamond, The Shawshank Redemption, Crash, 12 Angry Men, Death Note 1 and 2, Mononoke-Hime.
Fav books: LotR, the Simarilion and any other books by J.R.R Tolkien, any books by David Eddings, Inheiritance trilogy by Christopher Paolini, Dark Tower series by Stephen King, The Kite Runner by Khaled Housenni, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, Flowers for Algernon, Battle Royale, books by Conn Iggulden and Eiji Yoshikawa.
Fav groups/artists: Do As Infinity, FictionJunction and Linkin Park are my all time favs. I listen to Jpop, Jrock, Pop, Rock, Traditional (e.g. Samurai 7 OST) and Orchestral (LotR OST) music.
Composers: I WORSHIP KAJIURA YUKI. Also like Howard Shore, Nobuo Uematsu, Sahashi Toshihiko, Ooshima Michiru and Kaoru Wada.
I like sports as well. I run. I love basketball but I suck at it. I like swimming and cycling too.
I play the violin. And I really want to learn the piano.
I like computer stuff, but I'm not much good at it. I love CS but I can play for 3 hours and get 10 kills.
I don't mind shounen ai, and my fav parings are Illumi x Hisoka (Hunter x Hunter) and Yzak x Dearka (Gundam Seed). Hentai and the likes don't bother me. I do not, however, condone pedophilism, incest, or mpreg.
I highly recommend fics by mumyou nanashi, ritachi, Shuri 'in a world of black and white' and Pen against Sword.
For individual fics, I recommend 'Biography of the Damned', which is my fav fanfic (by mumyou nanashi). Everything about it is just so amazing: The characterization, the tone, everything. And I nearly wept while reading it.
(For those who say Rey is nothing nothing more than a cold-blooded killer, perhaps this fic will change your mind.)
I'd also recommend 'Believing', an extremely moving Gundam SEED fic,
'A Fine Line', an excellent psychological/romance FF VII Yuffentine fic,
'The Price of Hope', a beautiful Ukitake x OC fic,
'FMA: Truth or Dare chronicles'- it's hilarious.
And the fic which takes the cake for humour is 'Innocent Sin', a Bleach oneshot.
