Author has written 5 stories for Robotech/Macross. Komander Kool used to be a college professor but is now working as an IT Manager. He's married to an older woman (like Hikaru to Misa/Rick to Lisa =)) ) with two kids. K.K. saw Macross / Robotech when he was still in the 6th grade (circa 1985-86). He fell in love not with the love triangle, but with the transforming Valkyries / Veritechs. He received a transforming toy from his brother because of this fascination. It was only recently that he discovered the love angle and that's where he got hooked. He prefers the Jap Macross over the Robotech - Macross Saga. He thinks the Jap SDF Macross has more to it in terms of character development and maturity. Until now he's waiting for the Megaroad-01 disappearance to be resolved. In the same manner, he's also intrigued of the whereabouts of SDF-3. Why do we have to suffer two versions?? Not that he's complaining - because at the end of the day, that's the fun of it all. Oh by the way, SDF Macross has kickass fighter jets/mecha from VF0 to VF27, while Robotech is stuck with the Alpha. I hope Robotech could find better designs/concepts.
