Hi there! I'm Talise (or Tali) and I'm just getting into writing fanfics. I love to read and I love to write. I started my first one, a Harry Potter story, back in July of 2006 right before a week long road trip from California to Alaska with my sister. It was a great trip and I got a ton of writing done. It's coming along nicely but still is not done (I just don't know when to quit, I guess). Since then I have started, and continue working on, over a dozen stories from several animes / shows / books. I would have started posting sooner, but I don't write in order. I move around within my stories a lot and that means no posting until everything is complete - or almost complete. I have no beta (but I might be able to convince my mum to do it since she's got an excellent eye for detail), so any errors are entirely mine and due to having only one set of eyes looking at any given story. I listen to a lot of music and use it to inspire my stories, sometimes in directions I didn't expect. All of my stories have original characters because I like to create new people for them to interact with.

8-26-09 Update - I've had a lot going on the last couple months and there was no time to get online or do updates. I apologize for the long wait and hope to move things along now that everything is settled. New job, new home, new town, no internet for two miserable weeks and no time to be on it when I did have it, two trips out of state and general chaos. Good inspiration for emotional disasters; my characters will suffer for it! :)

Currently, these are the furthest along:

Twilight - Running with Wolves - centers on Jared and Michele (OC) and is told primarily from the viewpoint of the pack. Inspired by Cure my Tragedy by Cold and Leave out all the Rest by Linkin Park

Harry Potter - A Family of His Own - Brianna (OC), who has adopted Harry, and takes place during his fifth year. I really liked Simon by Lifehouse for this one. I think this one is back on track now. Posted a chapter today and am working on the next. :) Finally . . . . 8-26-09

Fruits Basket - Aishiteru - Haru and Michiko (OC) - Starts around the same time as the anime but from their viewpoint. Some canon events are included along with many that are not. Too many to list here. If a chapter had a strong influence, I included it at the beginning of said chapter.

Saiyuki - Pancha Mahabhuta - Goku and Iyame (OC) - Wanders through the desert looking for trouble, just like they do. Except, Iyame is Goku's mate and has known him since before their time in heaven. Violence Fetish by Disturbed, Somebody's Else's Song and Storm by Lifehouse,

The first few chapters of each have been posted and I'll try to keep moving them forward as I can. If anything doesn't make sense, please let me know so I may fix it. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I've enjoyed writing them. :)
