Author has written 10 stories for X-Men: The Movie, Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., A Bugs Life, and Spy Kids.

Hello, dear friends at fanfiction.net. I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to write in this space, so here are a few facts about me, for all those of you that care (I.E. me and two of my best friends who are probably only humouring me anyway).

Pretty much, I'm a teenaged girl, I live in Ottawa, Canada, I play the piano and saxophone (not very well, mind you) and I love to sing. I also enjoy writing, which is a good thing considering what website I'm on. I'm working on a novel. I'm not overall a very sports-oriented person, but I love to swim and to play badminton.

I look, as my brother so eloquently put it, like a much younger cross between Jennifer Ehle and Helena Bonham Carter, only less pretty. I'm pale and freckly (classic Irish). My hair is dark brown and slightly wavy and currently just reaches past my shoulders. I have slightly hazelly brown eyes, which I've always thought were my best feature (thick dark eyelashes, full of warmth and sparkle- very Lizzie Bennet). I dress to please myself rather than others, so while I'm basically in style, I tend to favour scarves, pea-jackets, jewelry I make myself, and (my current all-time favourite) an oversized grey sweater made from ridiculously comfy cotton, which I got from my cousin.

I'm Irish Catholic in origin, and I have 13 aunts and uncles, not counting those married into the family, and over 20 cousins. I also have two brothers.

I'm a huge They Might Be Giants fan, as you may have guessed from the many little references to them riddled throughout my stories. I also love Tom Waits, Sinéad O'Connor, The Pogues, and the following musicals: Fiddler on the Roof, anything by Gilbert and Sullivan, Les Mis, Kiss Me Kate.

I am a rabid fan of Alan Rickman, Cillian Murphy, Noah Taylor, Geoffrey Rush, Liam Neeson, Brendan Gleeson, Willam Dafoe, Christopher Lee, Al Pucino, Tom Stoppard, Topol, Steve Buscemi, Hugh Laurie, Peter Lorre, Steven Fry, Johnny Depp, Albert Finney, Brian Cox, Cara Pifko, David Kelly, David Thewlis, David Warner, Morgan Waters, Gary Oldman, Gene Wilder, Humphrey Bogart, James Fox, Joan Plowright, Micheal Gambon, Micheal Murphy, Naomi Harris, Morgan Freeman, Patrick Stewart, Robert Newton, Ron Lea, Scarlette Johanssen, Sean Cullen, the Marx brothers and Vik Sahai.

A few random things I love: Indian and Thai food, the colour turquoise, wood stoves, beading, walking around in bare feet, pointed ears, animals (especially stoats, otters and parrots), white pines, people who look like Steve Buscemi, Artemis Fowl, accents, Jazz piano, canes, Disney music, Monty Python, chess, wristwatches and the name "Gabriel" (for guys).

Things I hate: People who get offended too easily, backstabbers, people who think you can't wear a scarf in the summer, people who add you to their alert or favourites list without ever reviewing, steak and tomatoes, and acting messed up because you think it looks cool.

I have an ipod nano (which I've named John) and an extensive movie collection. I speak English (Duuhhhhh) and broken French. My friends consider me a huge nerd, and I'm apt to agree. Don't you think?
