Author has written 4 stories for Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Harry Potter, and Transformers.

I'm 24 years old and I'm a journalist. I've started writing 10 novels (haven't finished any yet). Based on its word count, "Wrath of the Half-Blood Prince" is my first finished novel. I am writing what will be my second finished novel (probably), a Lupin/Tonks story entitled "Lord of the Werewolves" that will hopefully get better use out of the characters than they got in "Deathly Hallows."

Pity I won't be able to make any money off the last two, since the storyline and characters belong to J.K. Rowling. Perhaps I'll include the fact the fact that I've posted them under my own name and I've gotten thousands of hits in my cover letters, to show the editors I've got a fan base they might want to tap into.

In middle and high school, I wrote fan fiction for "Prey," "Star Wars," "Starcraft," and "Dark Angel." I took a break for most of college--then I wrote "The Death of the Triton" for the new Battlestar Galactica. I found Sindie's "The Moment It Began" via some fanart on DeviantArt.com and was inspired to start writing "The Wrath of the Half-Blood Prince," which is an attempt to write a 100 percent realistic Snape/Lily story (it's based on Snape making better choices as a teenager) and explore some aspects of the wizarding world and the First Wizarding War that aren't covered in the novels. "Lord of the Werewolves" is an attempt to correct the underuse of Lupin and Tonks in Deathly Hallows and elaborate on certain aspects of canon, such as the werewolf pack, just HOW the Death Eaters seized control of the government so quickly, and what the Order was doing while Harry, Ron, and Hermione went camping.

HP character relationships I like: Snape/Lily, Lupin/Tonks, Snape/Tonks (the personality clash alone would be hilarious), Lily/Lupin (surely she had more options than the thug Potter and the clingy emo Goth boy Snape), Harry/Luna, and Ted/Andromeda.

Here is my first published piece of original fiction, a short horror piece entitled "I am the Wendigo."

I have also sold several pieces of original fiction to the print magazine Flashing Swords. My Vikings-and-monsters tale "Nicor" will appear in the 13th issue this summer, while a dark fantasy piece "Lord of the Dolorous Tower" is tentatively scheduled for the 14th issue. My sword-and-sorcery tale "Lord Giovanni's Daughter" will appear in the 15th issue. I have also sold a short story to BattleCorps (www.battlecorps.com); the story will now be part of the BattleTech canon. :) Sufficient to say, I am particularly proud of that.

Lupin and Tonks follow a different, darker path than canon. DH-compliant until the Weasley wedding, then goes AU.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was fun to watch, but the story needed work. Here's my "reimagining" of it, complete with a scheming Starscream, no Alice-the-LustBot, the Fallen actually rising again, and eventually Unicron.
