Ah, before you go on, I'd like to say something:

If you see anything - on my profile or in a story - no matter what it is, feel free to take it. Whether it's a quote, an idea, a character, a chibi, or anything else, I fully support the use of it by others. Way I see it, with quote and stories, they're not really mine to begin with. It's called 'fanfiction'; saying "no, no, MINE!!" seems rather hypocritical... And the quotes are mostly from others too, so again, claiming those would be mean. :) Besides, I like to share. So, as I said, you want it, feel free; you don't even have to ask.

The Day of Silence is an annual student-organized day of action to protest the bullying and harrassment of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender ((LGBT)) students and their straight allies. The Day of Silence if held each year on a Wednesday in April; the specific date changes each year. The 2006 Day of Silence was on April 26. The 2007 Day of Silence was held on April 18. The 2008 Day of Silence was on Friday April 25. The 2009 Day of Silence will be held on April 17.

The Global Youth Service Day is a coordinated annual event which gathers young people around the world in conducting community service, service learning, and youth voice activities that benefit their communities, their countries, and the world.
