Favorite Characters:

L Lawliet (Death Note): I can't help it, I have a thing for mysteries and he's the best detective in the world--Sherlock Holmes has nothing on L. Besides, he's out to get Light and I absolutely hate that guy. I really hate that L died though. Cries

Naomi Misora (Death Note): Even though she wasn't around for long, I still think she was an awesome character. She and L would make a good couple in my opinion because she seems to be able to match him somewhat intellectually and they have worked together before--and with L that's probably a big deal since he's like a recluse. I really hated her fiancee though, he never seemed to really appreciate her or her abilities with how he told her to mind her own business and stay out of the case--he wasn't that great of an agent, so why couldn't he be the one to stay home and "take care of the family."

Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto): I don't care what anyone says, I love Sasuke. I am mad at him for leaving the village but try to put yourself in his shoes for a minute--if your brother(someone who you admired) killed everyone you cared about, would you just stay home and watch as he got away with it? Sasuke suffered a lot of trauma at such a young age, it's quite a wonder he didn't turn out worse--he still does seem to care for his teammates and from certain discoveries(like the elders actually arranging the Uchiha clan to be killed) I wouldn't want to go back either.

Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach): One of the best characters ever. I never really liked Bleach before my friend made me watch an episode with Toshiro in it. I like his character and his personality; acting so grown up yet at the same time still appearing like a young boy. It's always so much funnier when the serious ones blow up. I also like the relationship him and Momo have and I really do believe they'll be canon--he cares a lot about her and in the game when someone made references to the two, Hitsugaya didn't deny anything.

Momo Hinamori (Bleach): She's probably one of the most innocent characters in the show and if I were her captain, I would count myself lucky to have her. She believed in Aizen even AFTER he stabbed her through the gut--now THATS devotion. But it was kind of annoying how she continued to stick up for him and I almost cried when she went after Toshiro, believing him to have killed her mentor. Notice I said mentor--I refuse to believe she has any romantic interest in him--I mean, come on, he looks more like her father. I think she just really looks up to him--and like I said before--maybe even sees him as a father figure. You gotta admit, it makes sense.

Hated Characters:

Shippo (Inuyasha): Okay, I don't really hate him--he does have those cute moments. But he does get annoying after a while, he's probably one of the main reasons why Inuyasha gets sat most of the time. Another thing is him trying to act all heroic and brave and such when everyone else does all the work while he cowers off in the background. I know he's only a child but he does seem to be manipulative as well. Another reason I don't like him--and this is actually a problem I have with Miroku and Sango as well--but they all seem to take Kagome's side in any argument she has with Inuyasha, especially with Kikyo. I don't like the girl either but come on people, he did love her long before Kagome came into the picture and he never asked her to love him! Without even knowing what the fight is about, they all flock to Kagome's side--it gets old.

Kagome Higurashi (Inuyasha): What can I say--she's sweet, kind, compassionate, brave, selfless, and just about perfect. This is pretty much how she comes out in the series and I have not noticed many faults about her--everyone automatically loves her (Inuyasha, Hojo, Kouga), everyone automatically takes her side (Shippo, Miroku, Sango), and at some points she does appear mary-sueish. I actually do like Kagome--more than Kikyo at least--but like everyone else in the world, she does need to have some faults, or maybe be the one getting yelled at for a change instead of Inuyasha. When the broke the jewel--pfff no biggie! And when Kikyo died and Inuyasha was going through a rough time--no, no Kagome is suffering as well and everyone should comfort her. UGH! So annoying.

Sousuke Aizen (Bleach): Hate him, Hate him, Hate him! This damn bastard ripped Soul Society appart, made a believer out of his helpless vice captain, and almost killed Toshiro! I do not feel one shred of pity for this man because he had no reason to uproot the Seireiti, no remorse once he did so. Not even for almost killing his vice captain--and she would have died if Toshiro hadn't shown up I am almost positive--and does not care about the people who he is taking down with him.

Light Yagami (Death Note): He's self important is all I have to say. He uses Misa to get what he wants--doesn't care that she really does seem to love him and is out to kill L. That alone is enough to make me hate the guy. His vision of the perfect world actually does make some sense, but he is killing people, and did not even think that he was exactly like the criminals who he was killing. His type of justice is warped--and he thinks its right and will kill anyone who opposes it just because he believes it right. I have never liked his character--not in the anime and not in the live action movies.

Izuru Kira (Bleach): To me he has always seemed like a wimp and I just plain don't like him. I have no idea how he ever made to the rank of vice, to be honest and I was also very angry when he raised his sword to Momo on behalf of his captain. He doesn't seem to have a bad heart though, I will admit that but the guy really doesn't seem to have much of a backbone. Another reason I don't really like him is because it looks kind of like he has or had a crush on Momo and I am a firm believer in HitsuHina.

What I Look For In A Fic:

--I'm not real big into angst; I will read it if the fic is well written though. However I usually like to read romances--fluff--which might sound kind of corny but I'm a sappy person by nature. I like to see sweet moments between my favorite pairings but I also like fics with a lot of fighting in them, makes them a lot more interesting. I also usually like fics with a lot of side pairings because it kind of gives a little variety to the story and its nice to change the main characters around for a bit without taking the whole story away from them. Humor is something I like as well, as long as it doesn't bash my favorite characters I usually like it and if its written well. I really don't think I write humor very well--I have no idea how I got through my Naruto fic (maybe I was just on a role)--but I suck at righting funny stuff. I guess Naruto is the exception to that. I usually try to avoid AU stories because most of them are just about high school life--and while some are very well written--the same old story line has become dry and ultimately boring to say the least. It usually follows the same basic plot as well which makes it even more boring; I do kind of like fics about the supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc...) but only if they are well written and have a good plot to them. And even though there really aren't a lot of them out there, I really do like generation fics--the ones about the main characters children. I think there generally cute and its fun to see how a potential child of my favorite pairings might act--not to mention that any child of Sasuke and Sakura would be super cute!! Awwww.
