Author has written 8 stories for CSI. I am a happily married mother of a grown son of 30 and a daughter of 22. Although previously in youth ministry, I now work in the student admissions office of Indiana University School of Dentistry, making and breaking future dentists for 6 years and counting.
Reflecting back over my fifty plus years, I realize I am a hopeless romantic. I've shipped TV shows all the way back to Gilligan and Mary Ann - in the shows original airing! I was a birth Trekker (Spock /Nurse Chapel, then on to Picard/Crusher), an X-phile convert, and am now deep into the Grissom and Sara 'ship. I want these characters to be as happy as I am with my sweetie. Although I've enjoyed fanfiction in many genre for years, and I always had my own stories buzzing through my head, I never actually wrote a fan fiction until the Fox/Eads firing/rehiring debacle. The year had been emotionally traumatic for me on a personal level with the near loss of my son. I had kept my sanity through that by escaping into my Grissom/Sara world. The prospect of losing that outlet of escape was the impetus for my first fic. Since some of my writing is more...intense than will be allowed in this forum, I am working on a webpage for my stories to call home as well. They are upgrading the system, so work is not progressing as I would have hoped. Please, check back again if you can't get to the site on your first visit. I'd like to think I write primarily for my own creative outlet. But I've found that positive feedback is a bit of a rush. Like any drug, I'm trying to just say no. | |||||||||||
