Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Hello. You can find updates for my fiction, recommendations, and more at my LiveJournal account, ClemensCybele. I found the alias 'Clemens Cybele' on a site of mythical names. 'Clemens' is a name meaning 'gentle' or 'merciful,' and 'Cybele' is one of the many given names for the Mother Goddess. So, literally, Clemens Cybele is 'Gentle or Merciful Mother Goddess.' I, however, chose the title on totally superfluous reasoning - I like the sound of it. I am currently working on three stories, each with their own steady pace and different, hopefully unique, direction. Burnt, the first Ginny/Draco fanfic I have ever written/planned (and I've only ever read one fic with them, and they were only a side pairing - "Heirs of Hogwarts" by PhoenixFirebolt, which is on my fave list), starts out with the final battle against Voldemort. I owe this story to all the people who've taught me that 'show, not tell' means more than just conveying expressions and rainy days (in short: yee, fandom rocks!). Black Diamond Prophecy, one of my first real epic fanfics, has been planned out so thoroughly that it takes me several months just to make sure I've got one chapter done and perfect (don't even get me started on how long it took to perfect the prologue!). Updates will come slowly but surely, and never fear, I absolutely refuse to abandon it. And then there's Any Means, which is my respones to the quarterly April-June challenge at WitherWings.net, "The War at Grimauld Place." Basically, Ron's not as much of an idiot as everybody likes to believe and it's started, what else, a war at Grimauld Place. I write a lot outside of fanfiction and my original short stories and poems are far more important to me than my fanfiction, sad as that might be. If you're interested in seeing any of my original fiction (why? o.0), you can email or PM me. They are not, however, to be posted in any public places because if they were, I'd be giving away first publishing rights and it would be much harder to publish them in the long run (hence the reason why I do not have an account over at fictionpress). Real life also keeps me really busy, what with school, trying to find a job, and keeping up with my social life. Updates will be mostly speradic on my part. On an entirely unrelated note, ever since I participated in NaNoWriMo, I've been a huge freak about keeping up with word count. So here I'd like to keep track of the most amount of words for one story that I have. The goal is to get to 10k, then 25k, then 50k, and so on and so forth (the most I've ever written in one story was 64k in the 2005 NaNoWriMo challenge). So, my highest word count total for fanfiction right now is: Burnt - 6.5k and counting And on this parting shot I leave you, begging that you leave a review for one of my stories and tell me what you think. Thanks! (Brevis Tui Tempus est) | |||||||
