Well I've only been into Potter for about a year, but it wasn't long before I started reading and writing fic. It opens up for you such a whole new world! My first fic was a James/Lily fic because I couldn't find any out there that I liked. So far that is what I've stuck to when I write. Though I have begun work on a book 7 fic prompted by a contest from MuggleNet. I'd also like to finish a Draco/Ginny ficlet that has been floating around in my head.

I ship canon - Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione. Fanon - Draco/Ginny. I tend to read a lot more D/G fic than anything else unless I come across something really good in the way of H/G or R/H. You can blame Cassie Claire for my D/G obsession. I stand firm on my Hr/Rship and never ship them with any one else.

I started writing fic last summer in my math class when I was bored. My James/Lily fic was supposed to be a short character sketch on Lily and well... I ended up writing 21 hand-written pages worth of story during long class hours and ended up being a long typed fic as well. Its my first stor, so it's my baby. But my favorite story is Learn to Be Lonely which isa brain wave I got one night.
