Author has written 2 stories for Star Wars, and Jurassic Park.

Does anybody even read these things? OK, I'm fast approaching the big 50, live in central Virginia, USA, and have held more jobs than I've really needed to. I'm ex-Navy, spent 6 years working at the Pentagon for DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency, for those of you not into military acronyms), and have decided in the past 10 years to take things a little slower, hence the move from D.C. The slowing down part hasn't actually happened, but I'm now doing medical transcription at a community hospital. I'm married, have a small 40-acre farm, and three extremely labor-intensive cats. All of these together have given me a lot less time to write, but I still do dabble from time to time. I may even get something finished at some point, but since I tend to write long stories, the key words are "at some point".

I have stories in the planning stage (including the sequel to "Between Flight and Longing") as well as WIP stories in the Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park III, and The Guns of Navarone fandoms. I also have completed stories in Starsky and Hutch, the A&E version of Horatio Hornblower, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Phantom Menace, not posted to this site. There is a long list of fandoms I enjoy reading (I think somebody coined the term "fannish butterfly"), including Star Wars, House, Merlin, The Sentinel, Hogan's Heroes, the original Star Trek, Man from U.N.C.L.E, etc., etc. This is probably another reason I don't have as much time to write, lol!

Oh, by the way, folks: I don't waste my time begging for reviews, but I have noticed a rather disturbing tendency of late. Why is it so many people seem to enjoy my work enough to list it as a "favorite story", but can't be bothered to leave even a brief note in a review? Come on, folks, the only currency authors receive is feedback - don't deprive us of our only guilty pleasure!
