should any NCIS readers happen to peruse my page (is it me, or does that sound a tad dodgey?), perhaps you can answer a question for me: I'm looking for a fic which i forgot to save to favourites. Plot goes like this: 'post-Twilight, Oneshot. Short. Tony receives an email; it's from Kate but it's been delayed by the servers, so he receives it some time after her death. He replies, knowing she'll never receive it. It's a very sad fic, beautiful, and well written'. AND I CAN'T FIND IT!

Well, I actually have a couple of fics hand written, but simply haven't had the time to type them up. that darn thing called 'work' keeps getting in the way. It's all a conspiracy, I tell you!

Anyway, the main reason I'm updating this is because Nilmandra has very kindly given me permision to link to her user page. For anyone out there who want to learn more about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ages of the sun, she weaves a truely epic tale, based mainly in and around Imladris with Elrond and eventually his family being the centerpiece to the story. It's told through his eyes, weaving present and past and is told over three incredible stories: History Lessons, History Lessons: The Second Age and History Lessons: The Third Age. Please read. I can't say enough how great these are. You'll laugh and cry, sometimes even at the same time!!

Well... what can I say?

Hi! My real name's Jeni, I'm 23 and from the UK. I work full time, don't have a bf, but do have a cat. That's the way of the world, I suppose. I thought it was about time I actually bothered putting something on this horrid, glaringly white page, so here it is! Exciting, huh? I wanted to put something funny and witty, but unfortunatley my sense of humor is rather quirky, so some people probably wouldn't get it. Besides, (and more honestly) I couldn't think of anything...

Anyway.

I love drawing and painting and stuff. One day, I may even get round to actually setting up my website like I have been planning to do for AGES, and will stick some of my work there. One day...

I love Elves. ~hugs~ my favourite Elf (sorry Legolas fans!) is Elrond, as u'll probably guess if u can be bothered to flick through my favourites list! Oh, and btw, his eyes are grey, NOT blue. It says so in the book. So there. ~blows raspberry~ Ahem. Sorry. Said I was quirky. Or should I change that to 'weird'? Oh well... I have actually got a couple of stories in the pipeline, which will revolve around, guess who? Yep! Elrond. I love the young Estel fics, so he'll be in a few of them too... Imladris Elves are my faves, so that's where the stories will be set for now.

I love (yes, I know, I keep saying that! xx) LOTR. As u can probably tell. Funnily enough, though, it's not among my super-favourite books. Top of my list has to be Raymond E Feist. I found his first book, Magician, a bit of a pig to get into (don't know why), but it was well worth it. Love Sci-Fi and fantasy. SO much better than real life. Babylon 5, Farscape, Crusade, Firefly... TAKE ME AWAY!

I'm a stickler for grammer and spelling. Unfortunately. ~sighs~. And a moderate amount of accuracy. If u're gonna write a semi-serious story, do some semi-serious research! pmsl!

There's a fair bit I want to put here, but it's gonna take me a while, coz I don't have a lot of spare time. For instance, I have LOADS of favourites, a few that I think are totally superb and would like to draw attention to; Nilmandra's Histories series, for instance. Brilliant work. And Nili's A Sea of Troubles... is SO fantastic! But, I'm getting ahead of myself.

I do that.

Must go back to real life now :( More to come, though. (I can hear the groans now)
