My name is Stacey and I'm 17.
I hope to be a writer some day, and fanfiction is a way for me to get critiqued. Constructive criticism welcome.
I know you hear it a lot, but it's the truth- reviews give me more motivation to write. The more reviewers I have, the more psyched I am about what I'm writing. No, I won't threaten not to update if I don't get x number of reviews, but it will most likely be a faster update, however unintentional it may be.
In Chronological Order
Concerning Predestined: This was my first fanfiction, and it's my baby. I have the storyline planned out, but it may end up being rather lengthy. As a new writer, I took pride in adding numerous twists and turns. I never really acknowledged the fact that I would grow tired of writing the story before I tied all of the loose ends up. And yet somehow I can't bring myself to just leave my poor character be. I cannot be nice to her, no matter how hard I try. Draco/OC (Liz!) - Harry Potter
Concerning Too Late: Here we have my first attempt at a one-shot. Porr thing's short, huh? Sounds like something you've read before? Well, it may, but although I ship Ron/Hermione and have since book 2, I've never read its fanfiction. Reading it over again, I have to say that it was a little predictable, but it still holds a place in my heart. Ron/Hermione - Harry Potter
Concerning The Moment: Written as a response to crying fans of Too Late. The Moment is one story that I've been asked to lengthen, but I really can't see doing that right now. I left it open-ended so that I would have that option, but for the time being it will remain a one-shot. Ron/Hermione - Harry Potter
Concerning The Epic Tale of Bad Hair: My first attempt at humor! It was originally a one-shot, but I've decided to make it a novella at least. Its chapters are short, but I really don't feel the need to stretch them farther. - Harry Potter
Concerning Break: Well this one was begging to be written. At the time there were no fics like this out there, and after that one episode I fell in love with Trevor. It also helped that I worship The Clash. This is really fun to write, mainly because Casey is so much fun to write. I apologize if Trevor seems a little dark, but I have friends similar to him and they really tend to be deep thinkers. I've been completely floored by feedback to this story, and I'm pumped about the story! Trevor/Casey - Life With Derek
Concerning The Art of Breathing: If I've ever had a rabid plot bunny, this was it. I didn't want to write another story when I had three in-progress, but I actually thought about this idea so much that it infiltrated my dreams. I finally decided to settle on a one-shot, and a slightly ambiguous ending so I could pick it up if I wished to. I love all of the reviews for this story, and would like to state that I've never read another fic solely about the transformation. I've just read stories in which Bella transforms and I've been disappointed by most of them. So here was my solution! Edward/Bella - Twilight
Current Priority List:
1) Predestined: Chapter 16 (I've uploaded up to Chapter 15 on other sites and haven't updated in a long time. I'm finished at 2,148 words but still need to prettify it before I'm truly done with it.)
2) Break: Chapter 3 (I'm about 350 words in. I've decided that I want a sort of theme song for each chapter, but finding the right song can be hard.)
3) The Epic Tale of Bad Hair: Chapter 3 (About 80 words in... but it's better than nothing.)
Please remember that I am but a lowly high school senior with school on the mind.
IMPORTANT: DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY COMPUTER IS SICK WITH 400,000 VIRUSES, I HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATING FOR A WHILE, NOR WILL I UNTIL I FIX MY COMPUTER. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
18 September 2007: Yes, I am still alive, and my computer is still... not alive. I'm considering starting Chapter 3 of Break over and posting that if I get the time... I promise I will be back to finish my stories. Have patience, please:)
