Hey everyone! Here's just a little bit about me:
I'm an English major.
I have a thing for shoes. (I have 34 pairs, and love them all.)
More importantly to this forum, I'm currently addicted to Naruto. Kakashi is my ALL-TIME favorite character, followed closely by Sakura. My boyfriend laughs at me for writing fics about it, but he's doesn't mean anything by it. He says it's cute. (which is good, because I say Kakashi is HOT!)
I've decided that the reason Kakashi wears a mask has to do with a tattoo on his jaw-line. I think it's his clan symbol, and I think he started wearing the mask when his father committed suicide, and by the time he quit hating his father, he'd grown rather fond of the mask. No, there's no real basis for this tattoo idea in the actual Naruto universe, but my imagination likes it. The symbol is my avatar/image. I drew it at work.
I've also recently developed a fondness for Genma. He's just so darn sexy! lol I've been wondering, though...so many stories out there portray him as a total womanizer. I really like the idea, but is there actually any basis for that, or is it just something we like to think about him? Seriously. I'm wondering that.
I have recently gotten back into X-Men, and there my all-time favorite is Logan, followed closely by Rogue. I really love exploring their relationship as well as the relationships between each of them and everyone else,but I am not a shipper because that would just close so many doors to my very wild, very vivid imagination.
My boyfriend recently got me hooked on the anime Bleach. I'm super excited about it, and I just got all caught up with the anime. No manga so far because I don't really have the time, money, or access for it. I have a crush on Renji (which my boyfriend knows about and thinks is cute) and I think I'm getting a crush on Ichigo.
I'm also a long-time fan of Stargate.
My all-time favorite character is Jack, second is probably Daniel, third is Carter, and then Teal'c. I'm not sure where Cam fits in there; I'm still deciding on him.
I'm not too much of a shipper, in general, but here are the pairings I'm fond of:

Naruto: SakuraxSasuke, but only minorly. For a while I wanted them to actually get together, but then I found out that Sasuke really did leave and I was all like "she can do better." I like Kakashi with an OC. :)

I enjoy writing "whumping" stories, as I've heard it put, so there's a pretty good chance that most of what I write will be in that genre.
Speaking of stories, here's a little something about each of mine in the order they appeared:
I don't write very long chapters usually, but when I really get going on a story, I update at a ridiculous speed. Usually.
No Way Home: I finally finished it! I haven't gotten around yet to writing the sequel; I'm still playing with ideas and busy with school. Hopefully this summer I'll have some free time. If you like this one, watch for Avea in Atlantis. :) Probably pre-Carter Atlantis.
Touchable?: Another little daydream of mine. I have a very vivid imagination. No, this isn't a RoguexLogan fic. I haven't decided whether I'm going to give it another chapter. Again with the whole "killing the magic" thing. (And I'm having writer's block on it.)
The Truth: This was a happy little daydream of mine. :) No sequel here because that would ruin the magic. (In other words, less is more.)
Motivation: Yet another daydream. This started off mainly with me being a silly fan-girl, looking for a way to get both Ichigo and Renji shirtless. Then it has kind of evolved. I'm not sure where I'm going next with it. I'm already way beyond where I had planned to take it. :) Again with the writer's block.
Old and New Memories: I love the RenjixRukia pairing, and this was a little exploration of that. I may or may not get around to writing an epilogue, but I think it's at least mostly done. The kiss was the main goal, after a little reminiscing, and that's been accomplished. (And I'm rather proud of it, if I do say so myself.)
Exploit His Weakness: This was one where I really just wanted to explore the relationship of Team Kakashi, pre-Sai and pre-Yamato. That's where I was in the series when I began writing it, and I really like the three of them together. And only the three of them. So there. lol I wanted to explore their teamwork, and possible flirtation between Kakashi and Sakura, and Sakura's medical abilities were begging me to write another whumping story. Super-fun, anyone? ;) I actually surprised myself with this one. It's longer than my first fic (No Way Home, for Stargate), and I thought that one would always be my longest.
I really am still working on this one. It's just fighting me over what happens next, so hopefully we'll be able to reach an agreement soon and then I'll have the next chapter for you.
Wounded: Just a scene that started rolling around in my head and I had to get it out. Shikamaru replaces Sai in this because I really like the genius better than the @hole. Also, I wanted to be able to explore a little bit of the effect of Asuma's death on Shikamaru.
He Can Handle It: We all know that Kakashi's tough as nails. This started out as a oneshot, but I got such a great response on it and my muse has been feeling generous toward it, so I had to continue it. It's going to end up exploring aspects of Torture and Interrogation, as well as what kind of friendship or relationship Shikamaru might develop with Kakashi in the absence of Asuma. No, not a kinky relationship like that, you perv. There's not going to be any romance in this one.
Her First Time: My boyfriend saw the title to this one, and the look on his face was priceless. But really, it's just an exploration of the relationship between Sakura and Kakashi after she makes her first kill. This idea occurred to me because the first kill would definitely be a major event in a ninja's life, right? And it's Kakashi's responsibility to make sure she's ok. No romance here.
The Nature of Interrogation: This is a continuation of He Can Handle It. I decided to make this one a separate fic so that Kakashi could keep the spotlight in Handle It, since that's what that one started out as. This one is going to focus mostly (but not completely) on Shikamaru as he learns both the 'offense' and 'defense' sides of interrogation from Kakashi. Genma's going to participate, and Ino is going to get dragged in. InoXGenma Citrus. I have some big ideas for this fic later on.
New Jutsu: The KakaSaku fan in me was feeling neglected. I'd been toying with this idea for a while, but with Sasuke instead of Kakashi. Finally I was like 'screw it' and decided Kakashi was better for the part (yay!). This will probably be revised at some point, and I may or may not ever get around to extending it. If I even decide I want to extend it.
I'm Stronger Now: I stumbled across an incredible SasuSaku fanart, and I absolutely had to write a story about it. I don't know whose art it is, but I wish I did and if you know, then please let me know so that I can give them credit. You can find the piece by googling "My fist my kiss".
Dangerous: A little drabble that popped into my head and I started typing without really thinking about it, so it took on a life of its own. Inspired by the youtube fan video "Kakashi Tribute", to the song Bad Boy by Cascada. I've written one follow-up chapter to it, exploring the GenmaXShizune pairing, but I don't want to post it until I get another follow-up written with a different pairing. I'm taking requests for that, btw.
Coming Soon:
Untitled: I'm tossing around ideas for a fic that revolves around Naruto's classmates (I don't know what else to call that particular group), but will eventually focus on Ino. Tsunade is going to assign each one of them a particular person that they have to seduce, in the interest of training. There will be some form of time limit, and some will succeed and some will fail. Ino's going to be the best at it, and so she'll advance to the next level of seduction training. :) Poor Kakashi. ;)
Also Untitled: This one is written and in the Beta process now. I hope it is, anyway. It's Kakashi-centric oneshot, but very long, about him drinking on the anniversary of Obito's death and what happens when Rin walks by the bar and decides to join him. I'm rather proud of it, and I'm looking forward to posting it once I get it back. And decide a title for it.
