Hmmm, Let's see...Firstly, I JUST LOVE THIS SITE! I've been around for over a year now and I've seen lots of wonderful writings. I live in Northeast Ohio with my hubby and 2 kids and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE and ADMIRE CREATIVITY!

My favorite show is "Bones"--well of course! I also enjoy Law and Order SVU and C.I, Medium, House and Crossing Jordan.

I'm NOT a WRITER!--thought about it many times and even have a few story files stashed on a disc here and there. However, I love to read at this site as well as a few other sites. I love to beta! I've lent many a hand in Beta-land. On occasion I've even offered my services to authors who's work is very intriguing and worthy of being made better just by being beta'd. For a reader, in my opinion, there is NOTHING more distracting than reading a good or great story with lots of typo's or grammar faux pas!

One thing I've learned here at the site is to be 'culturally forgiving' so to speak! This site being multi-cultural, NOT everyone uses the same grammar techniques or spells words the same. So in the name of CREATIVITY there are some things one HAS to overlook. I get truly frustrated when I see a review that flames an author for their spelling or word usage when it's only because they are not using it in the U.S. English form. I've had many a good chuckle with my author buddies in other countries because of word usage and spelling only because of a cultural difference! So with that said...Be open minded and let creativity ring in all forms, but puhleeezzzz proof read! LOL!! I mean there is no cultural difference between "He was in deep though" which really should of been, "He was in deep thought". There IS cultural difference between "favorite" AND "favourite" OR "behavior" AND "behaviour". RANT done. : D

I enjoy well written work, usually T & M rated, but will venture into other ratings and have found some rather good fics in the K/K+ area. I'm mostly read the Romance/Fluff fics and will include Romance/Dram/Angst and always slip in a good Humor fic if there is one. I have an extremely hard time with (main) character death, even if it's set in the future. I've only read a few and have barely gotten through them! So if you write dark fic with character death, don't expect too much from me! LOL! I have many "favorite authors" marked, but have a favorite top ten list--They know who they are, or at least they should, wink, wink!

I encourage everyone to enter the monthy writing challenge: Cullen's Bull-Pen Challenge. At the beginning of each month a new topic is given, writers are given a ten day window to post their fic (usually between the 20-30 of each month). Winners are chosen by one of the core judges and one co-judge for first, second, and third place. All information can be found at my "home page" link for the fox/bones LJ site run by Goldpiece, Wolfy, & Siapom. If you have questions don't hesitate to email either myself or one of them. I LOVE to see all the CREATIVITY flow IN!! And I try very hard to read and review all of them. If I'm judging I only read and give an 'acknowledgement' that I've read as a review--nothing personal, just trying to say biased!

Also check out one of my other favorite places in the Bones Community on the ff site for One-Shot fics. It's a 'Community' dedicated to worthy one-shots/series of one-shots of our favorite couple. We're building it up now so if we've missed one you feel is worthy, drop me or one of the other staff (Bella-mi-amore, avaleighfitzgerald, azarathangel, jemb).

See YOU in reviews, PM's and Emails!!

~Gayle :D
