Author has written 14 stories for Star Wars. A bit about myself and my reasons for being here... My life is a busy one. I have a full time, very demanding career, a spouse and two children, as well as professional writing aspirations. For me writing fan fiction is a way to relax, to unwind and manage the stress that is very much a part of my life. I write it because it's fun to write, and because it combines both my love of Star Wars and my love of writing. I haven't read nor do I ever plan to read ANY of the EU stories, so please don't expect to see Mara Jade or any of those other characters in any of my stories. I'm a purist. My stories are about Vader/Anakin mostly because he is my favourite character, and since I don't get paid to do this, I figure I can write about whom I like. My stories are redemption stories, so don't expect dark, tragic endings. I've always seen Vader as a tragic character, but a human one. So don't expect to see him abusing or torturing Padme in them. For me that is an anathema- he simply would not do it. If these parameters are not to your liking, then please don't read my stories. I don't write them in order to have them nit picked or criticized based on someone else's ideas of what they should be. I write them because I enjoy writing them, and because so many of you enjoy reading them. If you have a great idea for a story, then please, write it yourself- don't expect me to change my vision or plotline because you don't like something I've done. By the time I post on here, most of the story has been written. I apologize to my many, many loyal fans for this tirade- but I felt it was time to say these things in a public forum in order to avoid what seems to be the increasing number of reviewers who appoint themselves my personal writing critic. I write for fun, bottom line. Nothing annoys me more than getting unwarranted, unsolicited criticism from individuals who have never written a story. I teach writing ladies and gentlemen - so please don't presume to tell me how to do it. End of rant. Thank you to all my amazingly loyal and supportive readers.
