Pet Peeves:

People who think Keiko, an unknown character, and Jermaine should be together. They make it seem slightly racist to just predict what a person is like then pair them up with somebody they do know.

People who make Kimiko shy. SHE IS THE DAUGHTER OF ONE OF THE RICHEST MEN IN TOKYO! She has probably been in hundreds of tv commercials just for being famous, not becuase she was good at acting. Even though, to keep her father's secret of success, she's have to be a great actress. (exceptions: OOCness)

People who make Raimundo shy OR too outgoing. He isn't just a circus star, he has a hidden side. He's scared of a lot of things, and most people don't realize it. He might be obsessed with girls, but he probably can keep his distance with a girl he barely knows. (exceptions: OOCness)

People who accuse other people of having Mary-Sues. It is probably their first story, or maybe they like having Mary-Sue and Gary-Stews running around everywhere. It's not their fault. They probably haven't seen all 53 episodes either. One episode can change a person's whole perspective on a show. No matter what.

People who still write song fics. Just forget it...it'll get deleted sooner or later. (exceptions: they own the song)

People who copy already used ideas. Unless you have permission, it's basically copy righting, even though, this sight doesn't have that becase the shows we do are owned by somebody else. (exceptions: giving credit to the person)

People who only believe in one or a few pairings. I'm not against all pairings. In the way people write them, it makes one seem more likely than the others. And in the show, you can see only four likely pairings: RaiKim, OmiKim, ClayKim, and ChaseWuya. But some people have thought out of the box and mixed up the characters, or added their own. So don't be afraid to do that, just because it isn't in the show, doesn't mean it doesn't exsist.

This is the section where I explain the difference in different kinds on stories if you don't really get the difference. Then I give and exaple of one (if I have one)of my stories which follow that pattern, and possible another authors.

Fics with songs:

Songfics:

Songfics have the lyrics spread throughout the song, and a character is not singing them, or might be, but it doesn't have quotations around the words.(Passion)

Based off a song Fics:

A fic that was inspired by a song, but not intetionally being used to make a story that completly follow the song. It only partially follows it.(Never Alone)

Karaoke Fics:

A fic that has a character or multipule characters singing songs.(Xiaolin Idol (2))

Fics that sound like others:

Oc sound alike Fic:

A fic that has an Oc that sounds like another.

Title sound alike Fic:

A fic that sounds like the same title as another.

Story sound alike Fic:

A story that sounds alike in the first few chapters, but not completely the same.

Same Title:

When sombody refuses to change their title when sombody had already used it. (Xiaolin Idol) (The only exception to having the same title is Song Fics, which, unfourtuanetly (SP?) are not allowed anymore unless you own the song)
