Okay, I have a bunch of good news today!

First, I GOT A JOB!! FINALLY!! The only bad part of this is that it'll keep me from working on my stories, but hey, it's money for me, and my dad has finally crawled out of my ass, where he's been since I turned sixteen, yelling at me to get a job :)

Second, I've restarted Ask Riku! So, yeah, go check that out!

Today, while I was at school, my cat, Taz, who we've had since I was very, very young, died. Somehow, we're not really sure, she got really sick. She wouldn't eat or drink, and she didn't move from where she laid, right infront of my closet. This morning, I noticed she was breathing really shallow, and she wasn't moving, not even a flick of her tail or ear when I pet her. I left a note for my dad but... he checked on her as soon as he woke up, before he even saw the note.

She had already moved on.

She was like one of the family, youngest, and yet, the oldest. She was 13 years old.

We love you Taz, and we miss you.

I came up with another story. This one will be about 7 to 14 chapters long... weee... and it is a sequal to both Kingdom Christmas and Kingdom Hearts III: Keys to the Heart. Which means, while there is a preview to it in Kingdom Christmas, it wont be actually uploaded till KHIII:KttH is complete, which I'm hoping will be before New Years. So yeah!

CHAPTER ONE - Orientation

Hi, my name is Mary Jones. I'm not your average, fourteen year old eather.

See, I go to Skyline Academy for the Gifted. I know, sounds like a school for brainy kids, right? Well, that's what you Norm's are supposed to think.

Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Lets start from the beginning.

I walked into the large, open school lobby, looking up at the dommed, glass cealing and the fluffy white clouds above. Suddenly, someone with large, black wings flew over me, causing me to jump.

"My god..." My mom, who stood behind me, breathed, placing a hand on my shoulder. I knew it wans't to comfert me though. It was to steady herself.

"Future freshmen, over here!" A voice called. I looked over and saw a pail twenty year old looking man waving one arm over his head.

As we passed, he flashed a smile, and the sunlight shinning through the dommed ceiling glinted off of his enlonged canines. Senior student... or undead teacher.

The auditorium was awesome. The ceiling was really high up, and for a school only having about four hundred students, there had to be at least a thousand seats. The first hundred seats up front, near the stage, were filling up with fourteen year olds and their families. Me and my mom sat near the front.

As I sat down, I noticed a guy starring at me with blood lust red eyes. As our eyes met, his top lip curled up over his teeth. I saw that his canines were, at least, three inches long. I cringed back into my seat and turned away.

"You should watch out for Baren." A girl said, sitting in the empty seat next to me. "He doesn't have much control." She sighed. I looked at her. She smiles. "I'm Alexa." She offered her hand.

"Mary." I smiled back, shaking her hand. It felt like shaking hands with an ice sculpture... I shivered slightly, and she noticed.

"Sorry..." She murmered as I rubbed my hand to warm it back up.

"Nah, it's okay." I said, shaking my head with a laugh.

"You... smell good, like... vanilla..." Alexa said suddenly, inhaling deeply. I saw a spark of... something... hunger, I think, in her eyes. It was gone almost instantly, but I was spooked.

"Sorry!" She squeaked, her hands jumping up infront of her mouth. It was then I realised I had moved as far away from her as my seat would permit.

"Attention, please!" A voice called. I looked up at the stage. "Welcome to Skyline Academy for the Gifted, a school where young Non-Norms like yourselvs learn to control and amplify your powers. I am Dr. Ebiwame, the Headmaster of this school. Here at Skyline, there are many different classes in which to apply yourselves, such as Wilderness Survival, Practical Power 101, and the such. You will go through each class during your first three years here, then choose the ones you wish to pursue futhor in your senior year." Said the middle aged, tan, man at the podium on stage. He had a strong, but understandible accent... and he almost looked like one of those paintings of Egyption gods you see in anciant history text books...

"Whoa... she looks pissed..." I heard Alexa murmer. I turned and saw her looking over her shoulder.

"Who?" I asked, twising my body to follow her gaze. She was looking at a girl with white hair and yellow eyes. I followed her pissed off glare, and saw that she was looking at Baren... who was still looking at me like food. He licked his lips, and I quickly turned to Alexa.

"Who's the girl?" I asked.

"Her name's Samantha Engel. She's half human, half shadow vampire. Her dad, Johnathan Engel, is the oldest, most powerful and famouse vampire. He's part of the vampire councel, though he refuses to lead it. It'll be because of him that she'll be allowed to join the Vampire group at all... maybe even get second in command." She informed me.

"Really? Wow..." Was all I said. I went back to listening half way to Dr. Ediwame, who was now explaning that Non-Norms were those with powers.

Vampires? Powers?

I was feeling extreamly vulnarable, not knowing what powers I had...

...Or even if I did have powers.
