Hello~! Hiroko Yamashita here!

I've been on ff.net for over two years now. Though for a while I've been taking a break from writing and reviewing and only reading fics occasionally because (I'm a lazy bum and) I had a lot of things to think about. During that time I've realized some (somewhat) important things, so please bear with me. I feel a melodramatic rant coming on.

Recently (Well, not so recently) it has come to my attention that I still have a lot to learn about writing (And I mean a lot). As such, I have removed Try To Remember, a multi chaptered Fruits Basket fanfiction that I had previously posted. I'm sorry if anyone was looking forward to the next chapter but I won't be continuing it. I read it over and I realized that it really wasn't going anywhere and I know I could do a lot better than that (Because really, I didn't put anywhere near as much thought and effort into it as I should have). The only thing that made me consider keeping it was the reviews I received for it. They were lovely and so much kinder than I (Or at least me story) deserved.

So what now? I most certainly won't quit writing, that's for sure. However, there are a lot of things that I've learned about writing (Like, how to form a semi-coherent plot and that random and unnecessary Japanese words/phrases do not belong in fanfiction. >_>) and so I hope my writing will be better (At least in some aspects) from now on.

I also left up my other fic, Guardian Angel. I don't think that fic is any better than Try To Remember, but it's a oneshot so I didn't see any harm in leaving it up. Also, it's my first fic, and I'm too much of a sentimental fool to take it down. XD
