Author has written 5 stories for Stargate: Atlantis.

People occasionally ask me, "Baroqy, why don't you write more fanfic?" It's because of my stupid career (job, pending nervous breakdown - call it what you will). Anyway, after 50 - 70+ hours, I find it really difficult to do much more except squeeze in sleeping, housework and eating. No, I don't work in TV or film. Ack. All of the hours and none of the joy. I try and do 'em when I can though, so don't give up on me... :-)

So, same thing as always - I don't do WIPs if I can help it because I write stories in odd ways (I write the ending first, then write scenes from all over the place and then I stick them together with superglue and a prayer). So if you see a story posting from me, it's probably pretty close to being finished or I'm so far ahead of myself there shouldn't be too much of a wait between chapters. I hope.

You should also be warned that I don't write typical fan fiction stories. Every so often an ending is not going to be to your liking and I'd rather you made the decision to bypass reading completely, rather than get upset. I don't do death fic, but I'm also not big on happy endings. When I'm writing a drama, I like my drama's to be dark and murky and I like my characters to struggle with a moral or ethical dilemma.

Baroqy.
