Yes, I like Harry Potter and I like slash. I'm not particularly fond of the 5th to 7th 7th books but I'll live. My favourites list comprises of pieces of fiction that have touched me in a special way. Mostly HP and mostly slash, but there are a couple of HnG fics in there as well. Usually I just throw fics I like into my Story Alerts list.

Please note that I am an incredibly busy procrastinator and that I write for fun. Therefore updates are weird, frequency-wise, and are mostly unbeta-ed. To add to that, I also write in the wee hours of the morning when I'm just about ready to head over to my bed and collapse. Yay!

I'm a law undergraduate and I think that pretty much takes up most of my time. Review or PM me if there's anything else you want to know. Cheers!

Shifting Perspectives (Formerly titled Time of Change)

Our dear and not-so-near Harry Potter re-sits his OWLs but gets sent back into the past where his parents are still studying at Hogwarts instead. Lovely luck, there. He is not alone, though, because the author has thrown in an OC that she has shoved off the Gary Stu platform more times than she would care to count. It should be noted that this fanfic does not centre about HP-getting-to-know-his-parents-and-having-the-ball-of-his-life. Rather, it's about HP's personal development, his denied paternal heritage and the chance to live his own life. I like to think of it as character development 'cause if there's a bone to pick with Jo, it's about HP's 2-dimensional-ity. You shouldn't, however, expect much from me 'cause I'm noob like that. But I like to try, so bear with lil' ole' me, aights? Thankee.

Dragon Dominus

So we have Harry Potter, alternate schooling and graduation. Then we have a hot dragon handler, throw in some romance, war and a happy ending. What's there not to like? (laughs) I'll admit I'm writing this purely because I like HPCW but it's fun and you shouldn't deprive me of my fun. It shouldn't be a long drawn out affair but updates, as per normal, might be slow.

Note on the writing style: It's not meant to be a smooth-flowing narrative. Rather, it's like a series of ficlets that make up the story. You should be able to get the gist of the storyline at the very least, especially since said story line is not the most complex of things out there. My main objective for writing this is to have as much fun as I can while I'm studying my ass off for the GCEs. I really do hope you enjoy the story as much as I love writing it. It's my contribution to the far-too-small HPCW fandom.

Of Learning and Survival

My favourite cliche of all: Superpowered!Harry in an alternate school setting.
They turned on him, so he ran away and left them to their war. But he's not about to fade into obscurity, much to his disappointment for he soon finds that he has to intervene when the actions of wizard-kind threaten to put all magic into extinction.

I promised an update for OLAS two weeks ago but I've been /really/ caught up with pre-term stuff for uni these couple of weeks. Am not exaggerating. Toki Mirage will testify. I'm not sure if this will make it up to you, but the 2nd chapter is massive. It's partially why it's taking so long -- I have to go through what I've written to make sure that most of it is not useless padding or anything of the sort, literary-wise. I'll get it up ASAP. Meantime, thank you all for your reviews and help.
