Hi :) I'm an 19-year-old female, and a student (major = French studies). I love felines, books, music, manga and anime. My native tongue is Polish, the foreign language I know best (though not exactly well) is English, I also know some French and started to learn Italian (and Latin, but that's more of a chooore). My penname is based on the name of a city in Morocco. I've never been to Morocco, but I liked the name when I saw it on a map :)

My favourite books are the Vampirates series by J.Somper. Other books I consider outstanding are The Wolf (a Polish book), Artemis Fowl series, Chronicles of Narnia heptalogy, The Dragon and the George, The Nameless Sword, Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale, Mortal Engines, The Tea of Luck, A Single Spell... that's it... I think. My favourite anime is Pokemon, discounting the first five seasons since Misty was part of the main cast then and I detest Misty. My favourite manga is Fullmetal Alchemist, hands down, though I'm familiar with a few others.

Twilight and Harry Potter series have a strange status. I liked the plot of HP and SM's general idea and interpretation of vampires, but I have a bone to pick with both canons. Both Rowling and Meyer made the same mistake - they introduced a toxic, destructive relationship (RonHermione and EdwardBella respectively), as well as a relationship which came up out of the blue, and seems false and forced (HarryGinny and JasperAlice). Curiously, in both cases I support the pairing of the male from the forced relationship and the female from the toxic relationship (HarryHermione & JasperBella). Honestly, I enjoy fanfics far, far more than canon in those two cases. Oh well. That's why I'm here :)

I have quite a few ideas for Twilight fics, all of them AU of course. One is inspired by the Punisher, another by Narnia. One will have mentions of fey, one of magic... I'm also in the process of writing a Harry Potter AU. It will take a while before I can finish/ write/ post those stories, not only because of exams, but because I'm kinda a slow writer :P

x Research proved that if a Twilight fan has issues with one of the Cullens, it's Rosalie 90 percent of the time. For me, it's Alice. I just can't really make myself like her. Damned if I know why. And she's the only character I have this problem with XD

x Why is it that each time I think up a neat story title I can't seem to put the plot together, but when I think up a nice plot for a story I can never invent a good title for it? :sigh:

x I hate it when people refer to canon pairings as "the right pairings". I hate it. It makes me boiling mad. As I said, it's fanfiction, not canonfiction, which means there are no "right" pairings. Aargh. Annoying people.
