Author has written 40 stories for Metal Gear, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Lord of the Rings, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy I-VI. Update on 5/22: First off, Happy Birthday to my husband!!! Not only is he awesome all around, but he gets to suffer through listening to me brainstorm and ramble about my headcanon non-stop, and he proofreads pretty much everything I post here, so I promise my typos are really his fault for not catching them... Secondly, I finally went through and added timeline headers to all of the sections of The Successor that take place in the past. I really didn't want to, but it was becoming difficult to write the place in time into the context of the chapter, and hopefully will just make it easier to read all around. And now I can stop worrying after every update if it's confusing or not. For anyone who has been reading, if you ever get really bored I'm curious about whether having the headers in there do actually help or not. And if not, well, going forward hopefully they will! -luna- -Married, cosplayer, tree-hugger, dreamer, foodie, coffee-addict. I enjoy red wine and dark beer, reading non-fiction, and being outdoors as much as possible. My husband (Victor @ ffnet) and I are expecting our first child at the end of June this year. (Which means I need to have "The Successor" finished by then if nothing else!) -My main fandom is FFVIII, and has been for quite awhile. I love Rinoa, I love Squall, and I love them together, but I also love exploring all the different relationships in this game. I think the storyline is quite dark and the character all rather damaged, so a lot of what I write looks into that--or at least, attempts to. -I am finally venturing into writing more than just one-shots, though they are still more my comfort zone. Once I'm done with "The Successor," I think I may actually start posting something I started a couple of years ago that I actually got pretty far on. I have a few other longer stories I may never post since they're more or less just me exploring my post-game headcanon. -That headcanon is very large and extensive, and I will happily talk about it with anyone. This also goes back to the fact that I think these characters are very damaged people, both before and after the game. -I title my stories after songs, though very, very rarely write songfics. A tv show I watch does this with their episode titles and I liked the idea, so started using that several years ago. The content of the song very rarely has anything to do with the content of the story, and if it does, it will be stated in an author's note. -I have made a lot of really awesome friends through fandom. I won't list them here because not all are on ffnet, and I know I will forget someone anyway, but I love our little community, and am forever grateful for the friendships I have. I am summonerluna most places online (tumblr, dA, LJ, etc...), so anyone who visits those other places as well, I would love to connect. -I attend Katsucon and Anime USA annually, and make it Dragon*Con as often as possible, with the occasional guest appearances at Otakon.
