Author has written 5 stories for Evangelion. Professionally, I am a software developer. Additionally I occasionally write fanfiction (not for the last few years however) typically focusing on Shinji and Asuka from the Evangelion franchise. These are by no means meant to adhere to every part of the canon or story elements of Neon Genesis Evangelion. They are my own explorations of the characters. These stories also do not usually have a lot of action (as in Eva fighting) in them, since they deal more with the character dealing with thier problems and events around them. If I had to classify it, they are Drama with some romantic interest thrown in, and are often what I think of as Survivor style stories (Life After Eva and Burdens) where the characters must employ thier enginuity and resourcefulness to make a life for themselves. I think of myself as a potential survivor, and often I wonder how capable I would be if put to the test. I have no doubts that it would be hard and would depend on circumstances. I try to let some of my stories inherit some of that flavor. I have only recently thought about picking up writing again (22 Dec 08) and due to school requirements after the holidays i may have to quit again for a while, but we will see. I will be editing and rewording some of Burdens, and given a little time, I will hopefully publish another chapter or two. Chewie | |||||||||
