First—I have had no free time. Europe-family camp-to band camp-volunteering at VBS-to upcoming vacation.

Second, I would hereby like to apologize to everyone who reads my fanfictions. I know that my updating is horrendous. It would be better, but my schedule is insane and is in fact getting even more insane next year, what with my dual-enrolling. However, that is not the only reason for my lack of updates. I also lack updates because I also started reading others fanfics, and that has taken up much of my time.

Due to the combination of these three things—my updating (or lack thereof), my writing (which I do, I just don’t like what comes out so I restart), and my schedule, fanficion has become one of the main focuses in my life. This is where the problem lies—I am a Christian. Nothing should come before God. Fanfiction—as corny as this sounds—has begun to. I will read/write instead of devotions or quiet time. I will read/write instead of study His word (or even my textbooks for school). Fanfiction has become an addiction for me, and that is both dangerous and sinful. Therefore, for the next year, I am avoiding fanficion at all costs. I apologize. But for me, fanfiction has become a sin (and I reapeat, for me. Fanfiction is not sinful, yet it becomes so when it takes a too important place in you life, as it has done for me). I apologize if this disappoints you, but my God must come first. I cannot let this get in the way of my walk with Christ. I cannot allow myself to live in sin. I cannot condone this behavior in myself. The easiest way to stop the sin is to avoid the temptations. Which is why I am giving up FF for a year. I hope to come back, but I make no promises. I do have one request, however—please, no reviews. It will be a temptation for me. And if I do update before the school year is through, I plead with all my fellow Christians out there to remind me that I have given this up so as not to live in sin and hold me accountable to this stand I am taking. I apologize once again, but I cannot—I will not—continue to sin against my God. I beg for your understanding and accept and understand your anger and disappointment.

First off, I want to say that the name Joe King simply comes from the word joking, it is not my name. I am a female, not a male. I live in a small town somewhere in the United States (narrows it down, doesn't it?) and am active in my church (yes...I'm a christian and proud of it). I have green-ish eyes (they're hazel, but there's more green to them than blue or brown) and blond/brown-ish hair. I'm a band nerd a drama geek and I'm quite proud of it. Reading is my life...and so is writing. I own a horse, three birds, and a hamster; my family has a dog and my brother has a bird and a hamster...just wantd to let you know how many pets I live with...and I love it. I would love more, actually. I play flute and piccolo (say ''one time at band camp" and die) . I'm teaching myself to play the violin (hard for me). My goal is to become a teacher and use that to be a missionary. That's it.

I write fanfics, and love it. I also write original stories, though they tend to be novel length. (I have one that is over 200 pages long and have ideas for four sequels to it in mind, as well as three other novels started). People who read them say they are good, and I hope they are. I would like to get them published, but I'm not sure I will be able to. Still, it's a dream.

Harry Potter Ships:

Ginny/Harry~they are cute together and deserve eachother as they are both awesome people

Hermione/Ron~who else could put up with Ron and his emotional range of a teaspoon?

James/Lily~Not only are they in the books, but when you read about them, they make a great-not to mention hillarious-couple.

Remus/Tonks~Remus deserves someone special, for all he's been through. SPOILER WARNING-- it was so sad when they died!

SPOILER WARNING (sort of) Teddy/Victoure (or however you spell it)~I just think it would be fun to investigate. I want to see where little Lupin is.

Those are the main ones, call me un-original or close-minded if you want, they work and they agree with the books.

Another one that I would like to explore--SPOILER WARNING-- is Snape/Lily, but not marriage or anything like that. I picture it as more him liking her and she liking him as a friend. It would juts be interesting.

I don't like Harry/Hermione, though I used to. IT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN! If you think it is, I have to ask if you even read the seventh book, not to mention the fourth, fifth, and sixth.

I am also getting into Superman--or out of it, I'm still deciding.

I am also getting into Fruits Basket (a Manga series), sort of. Don't think I'll write fics to it, though.
