I'm relatively new to the fanfic world, so I'm not exactly sure what's supposed to be in a profile.
Anyway, my name is Sophia, and I'm a student at UT-Austin. My majors are English and Spanish, with minors in Linguistics and Humanities. If that's no indication, I like to read, write, and talk =P I've been an X-Men fan as long as I can remember, but I can only keep up with comic books sporadically. Even so, despite all the kicks I've gone through, I always find myself coming back to X-Men. Inparticular, if my favorite stories aren't any indication,Remy and Rogue aremy absolute favorite characters of all time. I'm also a fan of Harry Potter and Lost, but I probably won't do very much (if any) writingon them, because I don't know half as much about them as I do X-Men... X-Men just seems so established. But I guess we'll see where this newfound hobby takes me, huh?
I'm going to be 21 soon, and I graduate next spring, so naturally I don't have large amounts of time to work on epics, but I have always wanted to write a couple story arcs. I think I'm reaching that point of maturity where I appreciate drama, dialogue,and character development much more than extended action sequences, big explosions, and complex plotlines. Not to say those aren't good reads, I just don't think I'd bethat good at writing them;) So probably expect mostly one-shots, shorts, or AU's loosely based on canon.
