Author has written 4 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, Ranma, Harry Potter, Seto no Hanayome, and Naruto. Wow. I can't believe I splurged that much on a bio. Whatever. From now on, this place is solely for informing my readers of important information. I am writing four stories currently. Three of these are up on the site. I'll go over each, but first, explanation of update schedule: I have always admired those people who can update regularly. For me, staying interested in one story, no matter how awesome it is, is very difficult. Writing four stories at once seems to have alleviated that problem; I can bounce between them, and stay interested. 'Course, this mean that I'll be slowly updating all of them, but at least I'm updating them! I'm also going to college, and that slows me down a lot; I'm still only a freshman, but it's hard to get the motivation to write, especially since I tend to write in long sessions, not here and there. Now, each story: Godseed: I like this story; like all of my stories, it has an epic scope, so I'm in it for the long run. It's my first Ranma fanfiction; Since I believe Ranma fanfiction is, on average, better than series like Naruto, that means it's a step up for me. Disagree with my observation of fanfiction quality? I'll gladly discuss it with you; it has to do with my idea on the nature of character development vs. event development, and how amateur writers approach the subject. Whatever. This story is, most likely, going to be Ranma/Kodachi, simply because I think the character is underdeveloped, and I enjoy seeing slightly villainous characters taking center stage. Living in the Shadow of Heroes: Rewritten. Needs to be corrected for errors, but that can happen at any time. This story is all about Amy, and, as I mentioned, all my stories are epic in scope so it'll keep going for a while. I really like this story; the world I've created seems very interesting to me (off thing to say, but it's true). I honestly look forward to exploring this world through my writing. One of my reviewers has said this, and even I've begin to feel it's true - the characters and setting of this story are mine. Even if they originally belonged to Sega, I've completely made them my own. My version of Amy and Tails and Sonic and Knuckles and Rouge are all based on the original characters to some extent, but they're different now. They're mine. So, if you read this story, I hope you enjoy both the characters and the setting. Both are equally deep, and I take pride in what I've created. Ninjas cheat. It's what they do: A Naruto/Harry Potter crossover, where Konoha finds out about the wizarding world and decides to invade it. I haven't heard of a story like that before, so it's unique to me. I've posted two chapters, but I'm dissatisfied about where the story is going. It's sort of kind of on hiatus; I'm trying to figure out exactly what I want it to do, but because I occasionally give writing more a try, it's not really on hiatus. Straitha: An AU Naruto universe, which I have briefly posted before and gotten good response to. I'll post it again when I have enough of a buffer up. It's sort of interesting, but for me to really get into this story, I'll have to make the characters and setting my own in the same way I've made Living in the Shadow of Heroes my own. The setting is completely my own, and I've already modified the characters a bit, but I need to do more before I can continue to work on this. There we go. Also, you should know that I hold rewriting in the middle of a story to be critically important. Like a building, stories need strong foundations to stay upright when you start to get into the stratosphere... If buildings went into the stratosphere, like they would if I was as awesome an architect as I am a writer. (Just kidding. Judging from my obsession with fanfiction, I'd be copying other people's works to make my own. :P) So, please try to be understanding if stories get delayed because I must rewrite parts. There's no getting around it. | |||||||||||
