I'm Kristy, 21-year-old student, living in Toronto, Canada. I'm a double major in English and Communication Studies, and hope one day to work somewhere in the crazy world of advertising. Writing and reading are both long time hobbies of mine, so I love fanfiction, naturally. Losing myself in this online world is how I usually procrastinate from doing any real work :P I'm a huge hopeless romantic, so I'm naturally drawn to fluff pieces, or anything romantic, really, though, lately, I have been learning to appreciate some good angst, too. Though if reading is involved, I've been known to read even the backs of cereal boxes :P

I write for Friends. Sure, I like watching and reading plenty of other things, but nothing has ever quite been able to capture my heart the way Friends has. I watch old reruns and even though I've seen them a million and one times, I STILL laugh. Now, after nearly ten years, that's some serious dedication. I'm severely emotionally attached to the characters, or rather, Chandler. I've never been the kind of girl who has celebrity crushes, but god damn if I don't go and fall for fictional, non-existent characters instead. My latest, most recent, fictional crush is on none other than the sparkly vampire himself, Edward Cullen. Go figure. (For the record, I could care less about the pretty sparkles. I just like Edward, period. That makes me seem less like a crazy teen fangirl, right? Right?)

My newly crowned love for Twilight is the only real competition my friends obsession has had in going on nine years. Though I've been reading Twilight fanfiction rabidly, I have no plans to write for the fandom, at this point, though story ideas swirl about my mind occasionally... perhaps one day, when I grow balls enough to take a step outside of my small-time-fandom comfort zone.

Note: To anyone who's noticed, I know it's been awhile since I've updated my open Friends stories, and I WILL be continuing them, at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later. I'm just taking a little break from writing at the moment to enjoy reading and immersing myself into the titan fandom that is Twilight, now that I've finally found a new fandom to enjoy with an expanse of new reading material.
