LIKES:
Realistic character analysis is a turn on! I love Naruto, because Kishimoto develops so many amazing characters. (I can't fathom coming up with all those complex personalities.) I also like gaming, karate and yoga, playing piano and guitar, researching botany subjects, SCUBA diving, flying planes, belly dancing, learning languages (Japanese and French), and reading/writing (duh).
I like yaoi, but only if I find the pairing believable and the players are kept in character. A lot of yaoi is smut, which I don't necessarily mind, but it's not very rewarding.
DISLIKES:
I can't stand it when people LOVE your stories, but don't review. I equally dislike it when people HATE my stories, but don't leave critique. I'm here for the tough love, as well as the praise. I write for ME, I post it to the Web for FEEDBACK. Give it to me.
I hate OOC stories and cliches.
I also hate the idea of UKE/SEME in yaoi stories. Sure, it might be natural for one partner to be more submissive. However, the tendency to make one member fit into a traditional female role, albeit with a dick, is annoying. It is also sexist and insulting to atypical females like myself who are dominant personalities. I write and read fanfic for the character interpretations, not to see the characters ruined by some twisted desire to turn a man into a blushing bride...ack. Sure, in some relationships that's realistic, but come on!(breathes deeply) Done ranting now.

Hermit: Naruto realizes that being a ninja and becoming Hokage are dreams with a price. Sasuke realizes that he's not willing to let some things die for the sake of revenge. Status: Chapter 3 is giving me a headache.
