Author has written 22 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, Labyrinth, and That 70's show. Well...I'm a lot of things, first and foremost being wife, mother, and officer in the US military, but I have a wide variety of interests. I play the piano, run, play racquetball, draw, travel when I can, and have published my first novel, The Snow White Rebellion. I sometimes don't get why I put the time and energy into creating stories centered around characters formed by people more talented than myself, but that feeling goes away when I read my reviews...crack for a budding writer. Mmm...literary crack. Favorite Books: Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, JK Rowling, Jane Austen, Isabel Allende, CS Lewis, Agatha Christie, and Richard Matheson. Oh, and I was a member of Addicted to The Babysitter's Club Anonymous. Still want to read one of the books numbered past 100, though...shameful. Favorite Movies: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN! STAR WARS! INDIANA JONES! Big fan of trilogies. I go nuts for any Alfred Hitchcock movie and am a sucker for very old intrigue movies like Double Indemnity, back when Hollywood had a standard when it came to writing and believed audiences could put 2 and 2 together. Absolutely love Glory, The Great Escape, and Enemy at the Gates as far as war movies are concerned, and I have a guy's sense of humor when it comes to comedies. Oh, and if you aren't into Batman, get into it now so you can see The Dark Knight and have a cinematic ORGASM! Favorite Pairings: No slash for me, but I'm a die-hard sparrabether who will explore norribeth. If you write willabeth and put it on my doorstop, I won't stomp on it, but I might consider it. But I'm nice, so I will write return to sender with a smiley face and leave it in the mailbox. Uh...Jackie/Hyde from That 70s Show. That was another star-crossed couple that should have been together. Other than those two, I'm pretty traditional with pairings, except that I do like Hermione/Snape. I know. I just can't get into Ron or Harry and Draco is too dumb and too much of a bigot for Hermione, the greatest spunky heroine since Elizabeth Swann and Princess Leia and Dana Scully, thank you very much! Favorite TV: The X-Files, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, The Office, NCIS, That 70s Show (long live Hyde and Jackie)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDeosQZXH9M&feature=related This is the best video that shows the chemistry between T70sS characters and was one of the few, surprisingly, that showed Jackie in her prom dress, which is an important prop in my one-shot. Guide to my POTC Fics...Since a Lot of Them Run Together and Borrow/Reference Things That Happened in Other Fics The Sparrow's Journey, Jack’s bio from birth to 10 years after AWE DISCLAIMER: I usually avoid including the ages of characters in the stories because I can't do math. If the kids' ages don't always adhere to the timeline...tough. It's just fanfiction. To quote Mystery Science Theater, you should really just relax. Stories That Are in Keeping with The Sparrow's Journey Universe: Moments in Time Chapter 1 (Jack at 7) Father's Song (Jack at 16) Moments in Time Chapter 2 (Jack at 20, Will and Elizabeth 5) Enraptured I Gaze (Jack at 30, Will and Elizabeth 15) The Birds’ Nest Chapter 1 (COTBP, Jack 35, Will and Elizabeth 20) The Pirate in Her (COTBP) Tristan, Iseult, and Rum (COTBP) Love’s Conspiracies (COTBP, ends 2 months before DMC) One or the Other Chapter 1 (post-COTBP, pre-DMC) Never Ceasing to Amaze (DMC, Jack 36, Will and Elizabeth 21) The Birds’ Nest Chapter 2 (DMC) Traitor (DMC) One or the Other Chapter 2 (Flashback post-COTBP, AWE, which is 2 months after DMC) The Birds’ Nest Chapter 3 (3 years after AWE) The Story of the Sparrow Child (4 years after AWE, I think I put Billy at 5 here when he should actually be 3...oops) Moments in Time Chapter 3 (5 years after AWE) What a Pirate Knows (6 years after AWE) Alternate Universe Fics: In the Cards (Will has died) Tempest Tossed (Everything is exactly the same until right after the "You can't trust me" scene between Will and Elizabeth) If you think Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann--Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean-- are made for each other and that, no matter how wonderfully wonderful Will Turner may be, he should never, under any circumstances, be with Elizabeth, copy and paste this into your profile! If you went to save Jack just because you missed him, copy and paste this into your profile! Pet peeve on FF.net: people who mark my stories as their favorites or for an alert, but don't leave a single word of feedback...you know who you are...so leave something! I don't bite hard, I swear! ;) If every time you hear the word rum, you automatically think of Captain Jack Sparrow, copy and paste this into your profile!! | |||||||
