As of April 13, 2008 I am still alive.

Since summer 2007 I have been a proud member of the quality control team for www.evafics.org (EFO). This means that when writers go to click 'submit' for one of their fics there, I'm one of 4 (though we hope to soon make 5) people who take a look at it. The way it works is that 3 QC members are needed to accept or reject a fic, and we actually go through and say what we like or dislike about the fic (think of it as 3 free, constructive reviews). We're free to disagree with one another and say what we feel about the story. Basically, if you want constructive comments or an unbiased opinion about a story, send it in at EFO. You'll get a minimum of 3 constructive comments, and quite possibly another place to put your fic. Then you can get another comment for each new chapter, if the fic passes muster.

Other current QC members include Fresh C, Dartz-IRL, and Red Horseman. Former members include Verb@l Kint, Merines/Psilanthropy, Asuadan, Dunerat, Ikarus Onesun and a host of others that I never had the fortune to know.

Revivement of EFO: In order to restore some life to the EFO forum and archive, we're going on a recruiting spree.

The EFO forum is lacking in posts and users. Have you ever wanted to discuss fanfiction, writing in general and/or Eva with other people in an intelligently minded atmosphere? This place is for you. Take a look, post a bit and see if you want to stay.

We're looking for any and all authors to submit fics to EFO. Understand that we can't guarantee anyone an acception before their fic is voted on--that'd be cheating the system--but we want you to submit your fics! PMs are being sent out to likely authors, but unfortunately it's a fact that lots of good authors will be overlooked. Go to the site, take a look at the archive, and if you think your writing is up to snuff, submit something. What's the worst you're going to get, a rejection? In the end then, you've still lost nothing.

About the author: Living in Illinois, 18 years old and pretty bored. Fanfiction is my escape from the boredom. I'm here to get and give some reviews, improve at my writing and mainly have fun.

Dissection: My most recent fic, and also my prime focus for the foreseeable future. While I have quite a few stories, none of them have been very long. I've not written oneshots, but simply 2-4 chaptered things for the past 8 months or so. I'm now attempting something more ambitious, a lot longer and, almost conversly, it has been more fun to write than anything else.

FFN Fics: FFN has removed all dividers besides their own specific ones. This has pretty much destroyed my formatting in several fics. I may someday edit them or another scene divider into the stories now lacking said markers (Purity, Neural Clips and Dissection), but for now I'm too unhappy about having to do so, to do so.
