i write vampire knight fanfiction. i don't accept anime as canon.

kurosu decides yagari needs to teach drama. the night class decides it's about time the chairman stops adding to the long list of ways he's thought up to unintentionally torture them. but toga has a gun...and kaname's amused. oh, crap.

3. The Withering - VAMPIRE KNIGHT (IN PROGRESS)

if it takes me a little longer than i promise to update, please understand. it takes me a long time to write; one, because it doesn't come naturally to me, and two, because the chapters i churn out start at around 10 pages and go up from there. i proofread everything at least twice a day. i write whatever comes to mind first, then go back and flesh it out, then write the interconnecting bits. that last part, for me, is the most difficult, and it is the reason why chapters come out so slowly, even though i have most of the material finished about a week after the previous chapter comes out.

i update about as often as the VK manga does, and i do it pretty much around the same schedule, so chapters of OW come up around the 25th/26th of each month. i think this is subconsciously because whenever a manga chapter comes out, it gets me super motivated.

also, in the olden days, i'd get about 50 reviews per chapter 15 minutes after i post it, so the whole re-write process gets me crotchety and i pout about it. if you want me to update faster, write me reviews. it makes me happy. it makes me want to do nice things for you. like update faster.

and i'm looking for a beta.

i know i said on the last chapter of one week that i would post the withering. i lied. i'm not gonna do that.

finally, if you write fanfiction, and/or have an ounce of respect for the genre at all, please please please do me a favor. complete this litmus test before you upload any new story.
