To help other writers become better in their works.

To never flame anyone.

To help newer members get the hang of things around here.

Because, frankly, some older members are very rude to newer writers. This annoys me to no end. Just because you're a great writer now doesn't mean you should just forget your beginnings and flame people because they wrote a mary-sue or something. Why not help them improve their work through friendly comments instead of flaming them into oblivion? Hmm? If you can't say anything at least toned nicely, keep your words to yourself.

Sorry if that came off a bit strong, but people should really think about what they're done when they flame others. There's a person on the other end of your comments, and I think sometimes we like to forget that.

Mini-rant over now. I feel better now. :)

Sailing Camp/Swim team/my life quotes: (warning: contains randomness and bad POTC2 quoting. All we did that week was sail around and quote POTC2 and pretended to be characters from it. I was Davy Jones. Grace was Jack, and Daniel was Maccus.) Now that I think about it, my whole life is bad POTC quoting...That can't be healthy...

"If you don't stop that right now, I will summon the Kraken and tell him to eat you all!"

Me: Grace, we can't sail into the wind! We'll get stuck! That's DAFT!!

Grace turns the boat into the wind anyway.

Me: "No!...Wait, why are we moving? The wind in coming towards us and we're moving faster?! That's not possible!"

Grace: "Not probable. Told you it would work."

Daniel: "Ha! Undead ghost winds! We are the Black Pearl!"

Me: "Grace, you've been promoted. You don't have to be Elizabeth anymore. You get to be Daft Jack."

Grace: "Yeeeeesssss!" (evil grin)

Grace: "Bite! I want to bite something! I must bite...you!"

Me: "No! What have we talked about!? NO BITING! GRACE! NOOOOOOO!"

Swim Coach: "I don't want to see any of you walking around without clothes on, understand? It's too cold in here for that. If I see you without something on, you're in trouble." (Grace and I look at each other and snicker)

Me: "Well, that sounds nice. You'd think we all walked around naked, the way she talks."

Tucker: "You're all newbs."

Me and Olivia: "Oh yeah? And why is that?"

Tucker: "Are you a level 57 dragon-slaying knight?" (or whatever the heck he said.)

Me: "No. Do you speak Elvish?"

Tucker: (blank stare)

Me: "I didn't think so."

Darth Vader: Luke...I am your father!

Luke: Nooooooooo!

(That is the cheesiest quote ever, in the entire history of the universe, except perhaps anything from the movie Troy. However, I feel that I must honor my Star Wars geekiness, so there you are.)
