Author has written 7 stories for Phantom of the Opera, A Great and Terrible Beauty, and Sweeney Todd. ABOUT ME: Greetings, oh earthlings! My name is Luna, I am an aspiring writer/visual artist with a passion for literature and I write fics for whatever captures my imagination. There's not much that I can say about myself except for I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor, I'm very imaginative and creative but I also have a bad habit of being very lazy, so sometimes it takes a while for my fics to update, but it doesn't mean I abandon them. I don't (usually) abandon fics, I just delay them for quite some time due to a lot of other stuff that distracts me. But here's a little bit more on me, in a nutshell. Music: Dark Sanctuary, Proyecto Oniric, Nox Arcana, Within Temptation, Evanescence, HIM, Nightwish, Emilie Autumn, Epica, Lacuna Coil, Emilie Simon, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream, Sarah McLachlan, Loreena McKennitt, Graeme Revell, Wojciech Kilar, Howard Shore, Stephen Sondheim and anything that captures my imagination. I can't stand Hip-Hop, though. Movies: The Crow (R.I.P. Brandon Lee), Phantom of the Opera, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, The Lost Boys, Snow White: A Tale of Terror, The Craft, Edward Scissorhands, Beauty and the Beast, Hard Candy, Death to Smoochy, Sweeney Todd, Bigga Than Ben and anything by Tim Burton...except Big Fish. Books: Phantom of the Opera, Wuthering Heights, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Gemma Doyle Trilogy, Dracula, Jane Eyre, Alice in Wonderland, Vittorio the Vampire, The Gargoyle, The Harry Potter Series, The Vampire Chronicles, and anything by Anne Rice, Oscar Wilde, the Brontë sisters, the Brothers Grimm and Edgar Allan Poe. About My Fics: I write mostly Phantom fics, mainly because I'm so inspired by the tragic romanticism of the story and they're mostly rated M 'cause I'm either morbid or just perverted. Tehehe! I often use EC pairings, but I try to be as realistic as I can be about their relationship by asking how Christine COULD love Erik even though she's so afraid of him, because let's face it: the man's mad as a hatter! Also, I'm prone to bittersweet endings, so if you're expecting an entirely happy ending with weddings, hearts, sweets and roses, I don't think you'll like me very much because a pairing like that in fiction very rarely gets a realistic happy ending. And, of course, I adore the Gemma Doyle Trilogy, so I simply had to write how I thought they lived their lives after the third book ending. Some interesting facts about me: -I wear black ALL THE TIME!! I don't know if it makes me Gothic, and some people say it does 'cause of how I dress or what I watch, etc. but I don't like labels. -I'm a feminist. -I love, love, LOVE vampires! But I am VERY anti-Twilight for many different reasons! -I am mildly asthmatic. -I had an ovarian cyst when I was nine. -I'm not as religious as I'd like to be, but I believe in the Wiccan/Pagan faith and philosophy. -I'm related to Beatrix Potter. Well...we're not quite sure about it, really, but it's a high possibility. -My guilty pleasure is the film Queen of the Damned. I know it does no justice to the books, but I am in love with Stuart Townsend and I adore Vincent Perez! -I'm of Celtic descent. -I'm a visual artist, an aspiring writer and illustrator and had my first art show at 17. -I have a thing for fictional characters, but most of all I have a thing for evil blondes (i.e. Lestat, Marius, Spike, David, Dorian Gray, etc.). -I have been to the Brontë house 3 times. Yes. 3 times! | |||||||||
