I'm a Gilmore Girls, Dawson's Creek, Supernatural watching, care free girl. I have a serious thing for Joaquin Phoenix, Jensen Ackles and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I am constantly reading anything I can get my hands on. My favorite is fan fiction though. I'm also a feedback junkie. I aim to please, so if you have comments don't hesitate to tell me. I'm a big girl I can take it.
My top five guys (Other than the ones mentioned already)
1. Jake Gyllenhaal- It's the eyes, and the body. I don't usually like a guy just because he has a nice body, I'm not superficial. But damn!
2. Jared Padalecki- He has evolved. He went from being the shaggy haired, kind of cute guy to hella hot guy in only a few years. But I've always liked him.
3. George Clooney- I have a thing for guys with dark hair. He is just amazing, and he has a killer smile.
4. Shane West- Another dark haired guy, but so cute. I even have a special nickname for him.
5. Balthazar Getty- I know what you're thinking, who is he? He's not well known, but any of you who have seen the show Alias or the movie Ladder 49 know who I'm talking about.
Honorable Mention: Joshua Jackson. I can't believe I left him off the list. I've only liked him for the past fourteen years. One of my first crushes actually. It's hard not to like him. I've seen almost all of his movies. I don't know what it is, maybe it's because almost all of his characters have been good guys. It makes me think he's like that in real life.
Favorite Movies:
Where do I start?
The Mighty Ducks Trilogy, Newsies, Sound of Music, Westside Story, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, all the Star Wars movies, The X-Men trilogy, both the Spider Man movies... I could go on, but you get the picture.
Types of Music I like:
I will listen to anything pretty much. Except for headbanging rock music. I don't have anything against it, it just tends to give me a headache.
Favorite Artist:
John Mayer: I have liked him eversince No Such Thing came out. That song describes me in a lot of ways. I'm quirky and I have a jaded outlook on life at times.
Dave Mathews Band: Their from Virginia, which is where I am from. Even if they weren't I would still like them. They are amazing.
Justin Timberlake: It goes way back to the MMC days. He is so talented. He's not afraid do things that people aren't used to from him.
Tony Lucca: I know what you're thinking. Who the heck is he? He is a very talented artist based out of California. I've been following his career ever since MMC went off the air. He seriously doesn't get the credit he deserves. You can't fake the talent he has. I recomend all of you to give his music a chance and listen to it at least once if you can.
Rascal Flatts: This another group that is very talented. There aren't many of their songs that I don't like. If you've never listened to their stuff you should. If you like country music that is.
Top Five Songs That I'm Hooked On At The Moment:
Feel Good Inc. by The Gorilaz- I can not sit still when I hear this song. Weither it be dancing or tapping my foot to the beat.
Stand by Rascal Flatts- Listen to this song once and tell me you don't like it.
London Bridge by Fergi- I like the Black Eyed Peas. So it's only normal that I like her as a solo artist.
It Just Comes Natural by George Straight- I have had this song stuck in my head forever. I'm not complaining though.
Here By Me by 3 Doors Down- I have liked them forever. But this song is incredible.
My favorite Books
The Key Trilogy by Nora Roberts- I bought all three at once and read them back to back to back in less than two weeks. Nora Roberts is an amazing writer.
Skipping Christmas by John Grisham- Who knew a guy who mainly writes lawyer thrillers could be funny? I have all of his books, and I have been a fan for years.
Johnny Angel by Daniel Steel- This book is sad, sweet and downright funny at times. I've read it twice, and I can't wait to read it again.
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks- There aren't that many books that can make me cry. I cried through most of this book. And I wanted to be Ally for a while so I could know what it was like to have someone love me as much as Noah loved her.
Safe Harbour by Daniel Steel- This is book downright sad at times. Really sad, I had trouble reading it because it would make so frustraited that the main couple in the story fought for years about if they should be together or not.
More random stuff about me...
I have a thing for guys named Dean. At least charactors named Dean. Dean Winchester (Supernatural baby!), Dean Forestor (Gilmore Girls. Duh.), and finally my favorite Dean, Dean Portman (The Mighty Duck movies.)
I am obsessed with the movie Good Will Hunting. It goes beyond liking it. I can rattle off lines from it at any given time. I have a strange obsession with Matt Damon. Because I like the movie Dogma too. Which reminds me, Ben Affleck was hotas a Arch Angel in that movie.
I have a soft spot for animals of any kind. Except snakes and alligators, and anything that crawls and has eight legs. I hate spiders.
I am a huge hockey fan. So That would explain why I love the Mighty Ducks movies. That and my crushes on Joshua Jackson and Aaron Lohr.
I also have a thing for bad boys in case you haven't noticed. Don't get me wrong I like good guys. It's just thatI like the adventure, once I meet a good guy who's impulsive I'll more than likely change my mind.
Along with being a Hockey nut I'm a big Patriots fan. Corey Dillion is the man! And I'm also a Nascar Fan, blame on it my family. I grew up watching it. I'm a Dale Jr., Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin kind of girl. I swear I went to school with Denny, we weren't friends though. Small world right?
Favorite Pairings: (I've seen a lot of people do this. I figured it wouldn't hurt.)
Gilmore Girls:
Rory/Tristan: I'm a Trory girl at heart. I'm a sucker for a good story about them.
Recomendation:
Anything by abc79-de. The What Happens When series is great. And so is What a Time It Was.
Rory/Jess: They make great sparing partners. And then there are times when you can honestly tell that they like each other.
Recomendation:
I have trouble picking just one. I'll get back to this one.
Lorelai/Luke: Who doesn't like to read about them? I personally don't read that many stories where they aren't together.
Recomendation:
There are too many to mention. abc79-de's are great.
Dawson's Creek:
Pacey/Joey: I love these two, they should have gotten together sooner. But she made the right decision in the end. So that makes up for it.
Recomendation:
Soggy Cigar Rings by Abigail Snow: This story very well written. I'm a big fan of hers.
Mighty Ducks:
Connie/Guy: Of course, almost everybody I know likes them together. They make for a cute couple.
Recomendation:
Everything is Eventual and Life's Little Bumps and Bruises by punkteacher: These stories are awesome. And if you can deal with them having problems and not always being together. These are the stories for you. Plus Guy is really sweet in these.
Portman/Julie: It's the whole opposites attract thing. They make an interesting couple.
Recomendation:
Love of My Life and I Think We're Alone Now by Sara- Both of these are amazing. But yet they're nothing alike. LOML is really sweet while ITWAN focuses on the sexual tension and the fact that they don't get along at first.
Charlie/Connie: This pairing is addicting. I like this one the most of all.
Recomendation:
Kekini by C-chan96: This story was left unfinished. It's one of those stories that I wish had been finished. It hasn't been updated in over a year though.
Julie/Adam: The Catlady and the Cakeeater. They just seemed like they had so much in common. I'm going to write a story about them one day. I just know it!
Recomendation:
I'm too picky when it comes to these two. You guys are more than welcome to send me ones that you like.
Fulton/Tammy: I have been reading a lot of these lately. I haven't found one I haven't liked yet.
Recomendation:
The Beauty and The Bash Brother by PrincessH: This story is sad at times. They have to go through a lot to be together. But it's all worth it.
Newsies: Most of these are Slash. So if you don't like that then don't read it. I'm not forcing you to.
Mush and just about everybody: I like Mush,it's Aaron Lohr. Isn't that reason enough? I especially like Blush. Because who knows you better than your best friend?
Recomendation:
Mikey and Me by studentnumber24601: This story is down right funny at times. But serious when it needs to be.
Mush and the Magic Show by SakiSaki: This one isn't slash. It's a tale of true friendship. And going out of your way to make your best friend happy. And Les is adorable in it. You gotta love that.
Spot and just about anybody: I like Spot, and I don't care who knows it. He just seems cool. Like nothing fazes him. I especially like SpotRace stories.
Recomendation:
Of Love and War by Butterfly Conlon: This is one is het. This story has had me rivited from the first chapter. It makes you feel like your a part of the story. And you can relate to the characters and you feel sorry for them sometimes. Thank God she decided to start updating it again.
Shoulders by SakiSaki: This one has Spot doing somethings most people aren't used to seeing him do.
Everything You've Done Wrong by Sloanne (Funkiechick & student24601 aka B): This story is awesome. It's my favorite Sprace story. It's really long, but so worth it. And Dutchy is a male whore who hits on practically everyone in the story. Which is really funny. And Race is adorable in this one. He's a hot drummer/cook/older brother. It doesn't get any better than that. Plus Spot is really hot in this story.
Specs and Skittery: These two belong together. I spent a good part of the afternoon the other day reading Saki's stuff. She probably thinks I'm stalking her. But I'm not! I just know what I like. But I like them with other people too. I espcially like Specs and Dutchy together.
Recomendation:
Mud and Mosquitoes and Melonoma by SakiSaki: This story is funny. It's not supposed to be though. They get stuck in the middle of a lake. Ants attack them. Skittery sacrafices his guitar to make it back to shore. Just read it, you won't regret it.
Winter's Waiting by SakiSaki:This one isn't slash. They have unspoken understanding. And Saki did her research for this one. It's definately worth the time to read it.
Jack/David or Jack/Sarah: I like them both. Am I the only one that thought Jack was going to try something with David in the movie? I swear he so close sometimes!
Recomendation:
Neverland by studentnumber24601: I like this one, and the reference to Jack being Peter and Sarah being Wendy is dead on. I love it.
Don't Ask Me Why by Frisky Wallabe: This story is so good! You have to take my word for it. I'm not a big fan of David, but he so adorably cute in this that you can't help but like him. Plus, it's hella funny. Dutchy acts like Bill from the Bill and Ted movies. And Specs is the Ted to his Bill. That's reason enough to read it right there.
Favortite Quotes from Movies, TV and life in genreral: I couldn't pass this up.
Supernatural: Most of them are Dean. He does have the the best one liners.
Sam: Hey, Dean, what I said about Mom and Dad, I'm sorry.
Dean:Hey, no chick-flick moments.
Sam: All right. Jerk.
Dean: Bitch.
Dean: House rules Sammy, driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole.
Sam: Why'd you let me fall asleep?
Dean: Cause I'm an awesome brother. So what did you dream about?
Sam: Lollipops and candy canes.
Missouri Mosely: Boy, you put your feet up on my table and I'll whack you with a spoon.
Dean: I didn't do anything!
Missouri Mosely: But you were thinking about it.
Dean: Hey Sam, who do you think is the hotter pychic? Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Love Hewitt, or you?
Dean: Dude, you fugly.
Dean: I'm not gonna die in a hospital where the nurses aren't even hot!
Dean: That fabric softner teddy bear... ooh, I'm gonna hunt that little bitch down.
Sam: Dean, you might want to stop thinking with your downstairs brain and start thinking with your upstairs brain.
Dean: Hey Sam, next time you want to get laid, find a girl who isn't so buckets of crazy.
Dean: Hey man, you've really got to try this. I mean there really is magic in the magic fingers.
Sam: This has got to stop! You're like one of those lab rats, that keeps hitting the pleasure button instead of the food button until they die.
Gilmore Girls: Mostly Luke. Because for a serious guy, he's pretty cool.
Logan: Rory, you're special.
Rory: Like "stop-eating-the-paste" special?
Luke: Get out, Taylor.
Taylor: Why?
Luke: It's just a code I live by.
Luke: You were crazy outfits all the time.
Lorelai: They usually include pants!
Taylor: You would knock the crutch out from under Tiny Tim, wouldn't you?
Luke: If he asked for a free cup of coffee, Gimpy's goin' down.
Lorelai: Hello?
Emily: You get over here right now!
Lorelai: Who's this?
Emily:This is you in twenty years! "Who's this?" I swear!
Luke: Taylor, no, no, no, no, and everyday from now on 'til the end of my life, I am gonna come in here and say, "Taylor, no." And when I die, I'm gonna have them freeze me next to Ted Williams, and when they find the cure to what I died of and they unfreeze me, my first words are going to be, "How's Ted?" followed closely by, "Taylor, no."
The Mighty Duck Movies:
Goldberg: My mother is not gonna approve of this, Coach! She wants me to be Bar Mitzvah'd!
Bombay: This is your Bar Mitzvah, Goldberg.
Goldberg: No. I think you've got the ceremonies mixed up. This is more like CIRCUMCISION.
Portman: I don't need no school.
Russ: Hey... Goldberg! I bet if that puck was a cheesburger, you'd stop it!
Julie: Fulton scored, Fulton scored. I am really bored. Fulton's great, Fulton's great. A year ago he couldn't even skate.
Random quotes that I find amusing:
Aye, aye Captain Crunch.~ My eight year old nephew said this out of the blue on a trip we took. We had been in the car for two hours and he was bored.
Watch out for Monkey Boy.~ My niece said this about my nephew. The same one from the line above. He's a little rambunctious.
Never frown, because you never know when someone might fall in love with your smile. (I've always liked that one.)
The world is full of freaks and losers. It takes forever to weed out the good ones.~ Me.
