Interests: Writing, chatting, pondering life, hanging around with friends, talking to friends, and generally socialising, drawing the occational thing when I feel like it.
Personality: Hyper? XD The hyperactivity I can't physically help... so beware if I have had chocolate or anything with additives (which means most drinks). I'm pretty loud (because I want to be) but secretive XD I'm pretty social with anyone, and I do not judge before I know someone. One thing to know about me is that I don't obsess over things very often. This often confuses people... because they say "what music do you like?" and I can name probably 2 bands before stopping to think. I generally just don't obsess? XD Its a pain sometimes. Though... I must say I have managed to keep obsessed with TMM... probably because of my fanfic XD
Likes: Being with friends, being who she is, her friends, being happy, crumpets, pancakes (proper ones), action films :D, well formed fanfics, sleeping in late, and other things I forgot.
Dislikes: Getting up in the moring, People who put on an act, people who hurt people, arrogant guys, HARRY POTTER, urm... I'm pretty ok with everything else o_O I guess I was in an odd mood when I wrote this. I generally like everything in life because I'm odd.
Rolo's life at the moment: She is sad because she has now left school. However, this means she has more time to write and more time to review fanfics XD
On to the specifics. I LIKE (which means I do not LOVE nor do I OBSESS) manga and anime. It's a passing interest, meaning I only like a VERY small amount of Manga. At the moment I have read barely over 5 series XD So yah. I like anime as much as I like reading a book or watching a TV drama. XD This is illustrated by the fact that I do not own 1 entire series of manga. My sister brought me 3 volumes though... so I didn't go out and buy them XD
Anime/Mangas I like:
Tokyo Mew Mew (I love this series XD 1st manga and anime. Its a guilty pleasure... seeing as I just love the plotline and Kish the alien XD)
Chobits (I liked it until it came to the ending. I thought the ending was absolutely terrible. The author could have done way more)
Azumanga Daioh (It's pretty cool... but not the best.)
Naruto (I'm not following the trend XD I see it's good and bad sides, and in no way do I think it's anywhere near the best manga. I like it and some of the characters, but I'm not obsessed.)
Tsubasa Chronicles (I love this XD It gets very confusing though so I gave up XD I'll probably pick it up soon. It beats Chobits and Naruto by a long way though)
Pita Ten (Love it! I don't know how a fanfic could be made out of it though. Its probably one of the only Manga's I adored the end to XD Misha owns.)
Ooo... I love the internet :D I found somewhere where I can read more manga, yays! I'm pretty curious about some my friend is obsessed with... so this'll be fun.

Books: My favourite book is Duncton Wood, probably something you have never heard of. Its about moles... but its not as sad as it sounds. I like most animal novels (well formed ones anyway), I USED to like the Warrior series a fair bit too, but it no longer interests me (but I really do think that the Erin Hunters have done an amazing job with all the series. it's popularity is way beyond what I would have expected it to get, seeing as I read the first volume very near to release). I no longer read or write Warriors fanfics XD However, I do think it has a wonderful set up for rp, but I'm very choosy about where I rp it. I also like The Sight(hated the sequel, Fell), Sophie Kinsella books, and ALOT of others. I HATE Harry Potter(over-rated), and most fantasy books.
TV: Hard to answer, I LOVE House (M.D), Red Dwarf, Futurama, old physical gameshows (crystal maze was awesome XD Old Gladiator pwned). I also think that Doctor Who is amazing, and Torchwood is pretty good... but I'm not obsessed. I don't generally watch TV anymore. Most of the stuff on there these days is crap. BBC, Channel 4 and ITV need to step it up quickly. I only actually have 1 fav TV show that is still going today... and it's not even on those channels.
Movies: I like is even harder. I like action films to chick-flicks, basically anything but horror (excluding Final Destination). I especially like the Spiderman flims, Indiana Jones(The forth was... odd. BAD ENDING ;_;), Terminator, bicentenial man (Its one I adore but people seem to hate), and I-robot. I guess I have a thing for action films. I love films, always have. So there are tons more I'd put up but it would make this list soooo long ;_;
Music: I love mostly heavy metal (particularly Symphonic Metal which is a sub catergory) and such bands as Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Kamelot, Lordi and some other pieces of music. I ALSO really really like Mika XD I find odd pieces of all types of music that I like, but usually I will not listen to anything other then rock or metal.
Story stats-
Sun and Moon- Discontinued A newly elected deputy goes out on patrol and returns to find the camp deserted. It is now his time to become leader and, with the remanants of the clan, he travels to highstones torecieve his nine lives. Yet soon, as he returns to the once deserted camp, he finds out it is not recieving his 9 lives that is hard, it is becoming leader.
I am not updating this one. Do despair, its no longer living! Unless someone can convince me otherwise which I severly doubt.
Tokyo Mew Mew Parody- (name will be changed) Due to be re-written and put up when an appropriate time comes in HTMMSHE.
Yes, Im replacing this completely with a different themed parody-comedy which is easier to write Instead of rewriting the entire TMM series in parody, I will now just play on the relationship between Kish and Ichigo and use Kish's jealousy to my own advantage. This story will be about... well, you'll have have to see wont you ;)
How Tokyo Mew Mew should have ended- Updated at random points depending on Busyness
Have you ever felt the ending to TMM unsatisfactory? Had you been hoping for an epic ending to the KishxIchigo matter? Have you ever thought that maybe there was more to Blue Knights task then just a somewhat vain battle for the earth? Well this story has taken into account all of that... and it SHALL end how I want it too and Ichigo shall end up with a different person this time...
This fanfiction has already gotten deeper then I wanted it too originally, and now not only is Deep Blue's task going to be fully documented, but we will learn about the aliens planet, the origin of Mew Aqua and what it really is, the strength of the Alien race, WHY Kirema Anima exist and how the Aliens make them, what happens when the Government acts on the alien threat and MUCH MUCH MORE!
One thing is certain though, and that is that Ichigo will find there is more to love then just fancying someone, and she will realise what the true meaning of passion.
So far this story has over 6000 views and over 30 favs o_o Blooming heck... how'd that happen?
My writing aims:
These are personal writing targets. Keeping these in mind, I hope to improve my writing.
- Get all grammar right
- Learn to write humor (People seem to see more humor in my writing when I think what I write is unfunny?)
- Learn to balance mood with plot (I'm actually thinking I'm getting there!)
- Learn to create noteworthy and 'clever plots' (I struggle with this... hense why I always only have 1 or 2 fics in mind.)
- STOP USING THE WORD SAID! Its a major issue! (I'm getting there with this too)
A brief guide to writing a good fanfiction.
I am in NO respect any where near the best writer in the world, or this site, but here is my guide on writing a good fanfic
1. NEVER write in chatspeak. EVER. Use good grammar and spelling (ALWAYS spellcheck your work). Consider getting a beta.
2. Use a GOOD formatting. Readers are often put off if your writing isn't well formatted.
- The MOST commonly used formatting is writing a mini paragraph, and then doing a double enter before writing another, just like in this profile.
- ALL speech should be on a new line.
- Use bold and italic when appropriate. I, personally, only bold or italic occationally during my actual writing in order to stress a word. I bold my authors notes so people know where my writers notes actually finish.
- Use the PAGE BREAK FF.NET provides! Use them after authors notes, before the authors notes at the end, and during you're story if the place changes, POV changes, or the time changes (some time later).
3. Never put authors notes within a story. It breaks the mood XD
4. Avoid Original characters. If you really REALLY have to use them, make sure you have a proper plan for their looks, personality and role in the story. Every OC should have flaws as well as strengths. Avoid making you're OC the main character UNLESS it is adding to the ORIGINAL story. Remember, your character is NEVER the only one in the story, and there is NO excuse for making another character weaker, OOC or otherwise to make your story work. OOC STORY'S TEND TO GET LESS REVIEWS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
5. Always plan ahead with your plotlines. Even if you do not know how the story is going to end, you should always have an idea of where your story is going. Plot should ALWAYS come first, a reader can sit and read your writing, in awe of description of mood, but they definitely won't be engaged for long if there is no plotline. If you have issues with making a plotline up but have the base ideas (e.g. Kish returns to earth, and in the end he becomes ruler of earth) turn to a trusted friend or a beta reader for help.
6. Use mood and description. There is a balance to how much there is in a story, but the feelings (especially in romance stories) you show in your writing can make or break a story. When writing a story, you should be saying EVERYTHING that is happening, because it makes the story more real. Remember, no one can sympathise with a character who is happy when something is sad, nor can they engage with a story if you say "Bladybla was in awe of the surroundings" if they don't know what the surroundings are.
7. Remember there are 2 sides to every story. TMM Example: Ichigo has just realised Purin has died at the hands of... Lettuce. Ichigo is angry at Lettuce, and very upset. She wants to take revenge. Ichigo kills Lettuce.
Whats wrong with this apart from the fact that it'd never happen? (My appologies for the terribleness of this XD)
We only see Ichigo's side of the story. Yes, she is upset and angry, but ALL the other characters related to Purin would have feelings too. And another thing, what is Lettuce's motive? WHY did she kill Purin? What were her feelings as she did it? If she is just evil, at least EXPLAIN why she is evil.
Do you see what I mean? This can easily be done with just a few paragraphs of speech or description, but to be done properly you need to be documenting both sides throughout your writing.
8. Character should ALWAYS be in character. This can be EXTREMELY difficult, seeing as in your stories they can be in circumstances, feeling feelings, and doing things they never did in the original story. However, you should always do the best you can. There is NO excuse in making a character do COMPLETELY OCC things in your stories (without a justified reason) because you hate them, want a character to break up with them, want to make them evil etc.
HOWEVER! DO develop your characters! If you want a romance to happen between 2 unlikely characters, for example, you need to show HOW both their feelings change to love slowly. Has Character A got a side no one has seen? SHOW IT! But always document a realistic reaction to this never-seen-before side! Ex. Bart Simpson turns out to be a guy who only behaves anti-socially because he feels unloved. He has an outburst about this in front of Lisa.
Don't have Lisa go "Oh ok! I'm sorry you feel unloved." have her being shocked. OMG she's never known a Bart like this! Refer back to point 8 and 7 for help with this.
9. Use realistic and UNIQUE plotlines. Ex. Naruto would definitely not just wander up to Hinata and say "I love you" and then kiss her. That, realistically, would never happen, SO DON'T USE IT! It could happen in the middle of a story, but not at the beginning.
Also, don't use well seen plotlines like "Character A breaks up with character B, for Character C. So, Character B ends up falling in love with Character D". Not many will read 2 stories with the same plot UNLESS you make the reasons and writing good.
10. A story is never complete. When you put up a chapter, that shouldn't be the end of it. Take the time every once in a while to re-read and edit your fanfiction. That way your writing will become better XD There may come a time where your skills have matured and you want to heavily edit your story. If you want to, do so
11. Always take into account constructive critisms. Yes, you may feel a little hurt about them and not want to have help, but in the end you can't improve if you don't listen to ther people sometimes.
12. Read reviews and talk to your readers. Whether you write authors notes is up to you, but if you have people asking questions and trying to talk to you, talk back. That way people will be more likely to come back again Its also only social XD
13. Ignore flamers. Theres a difference between flaming and Con Crit, and when someone is outwardly going "Your story sucks." they don't deserve any attention. Unless they can justify why, and perhaps give you ways to improve, don't be bothered with them.
14. BE DARING! Sometimes you may feel your idea's or your idea continuation (like in the middle of a fanfic) is too daring and may scare people away. I encourage you to not hold back! SHOCK THE READER! It gives people more faith in you. This doesnt mean being OOC though, don't mix them up.
15. ENJOY YOURSELF! If you feel that writing a story isn't fun to you, whats the point in writing it? XD This site is free, so the only thing you gain is experience. However, remember your fans You may not want to write the story, but they may want to read. If you are discontinuing a story, always tell them somehow.
