I don't think anyone can be defined or described in just a few random facts about themselves but I'll try to not ramble...

About The Author: I was born on July 18th. I live in Mississippi and I'm in college.. I I Some of my hobbies and interests are reading, writing, playing video games (no really?! gasp!), being with family/friends, making movies, writing songs, singing, wishing I played sports, and eating (seriously...how do I stay so skinny?). I'm talented in singing, writing (I hope), dancing (eh..) and I like to draw and design things from time to time. I also roleplay from time to time. I'd like to cosplay but...

My name as far as you are concerned is Ivy and I'd like to be addressed by that. Eevee is also okay _.

Favorites: (Disclaimer: I wouldn't call these favorites because there are far too many things in the world to just have one favorite)

Favorite food: I HAVE NO FAVORITE! All food was created equal...

Favorite Fruit: I like them all. But Grapes are by far the best. and Kiwi, Banana, and Apple are all close seconds.

Books I have read and they are memorable (I don't want to call them favorites just yet): I don't remember the name of all of my favorite books but to name a few there is Harry Potter (debatable), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (all four), Cut, Dark Magic (?), Amanda/Miranda, His Dark Materials Series, Sloppy Firsts,When the Bough Breaks , Ella Enchanted ,13 Little Blue Envelopes,The Bonemender series, and a lot more. I haven't got to read too many books lately because I've been busy. This makes me sad.

Movies that I would watch over: To name a few; The Phantom of the Opera, Shrek 1&2, Titanic, Secret Window (I have a weak spot for Johnny Depp), The Haunting, Spirited Away, Kate & Leopold, Bring It on, Lord of the Rings, A Beautiful Mind, Forrest Gump,Ever After,The Crucible, Breakfast at Tiffanie's , The Lake house, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (Go Rufus go Rufus!) and a lot more that I'm sure I'd like if I ever get to actually sit down and watch them.

Shows I try not to miss: there are several shows that I watch but none I can honestly call a favorite. I am known to watch The Big Bang Theory, Survivor, The Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model, lots of quirky random things while flipping through channels, NCIS (gosh I love them), Charmed, The Mentalist, Scrubs, Ghost Whisperer, Leverage...etc. I don't watch TV too much. I'm always too busy making my own stories!!

Favorite childhood show: MADELINE Really I mean c'mon guys!

Most liked cartoons :The Power Puff Girls and Pokemon. Cardcaptors is neat too and Samurai Champloo. And Ouran High School Host Club . And...a whole lot of things.

Favorite Games/Series/Stuff I'd Justify Playing: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Final Fantasies 7,8,9,10, and 12. Anything Mario related. Soul Calibur and Tekken. Kingdom Hearts (not so much...). Tomb Raider: Legends. The Sims2, Darkened Skye, Dungeon Seige. Also I will play MMPROG or however that's spelled..sometimes. I sometimes play Last Chaos, 12th Sky, Shiaya Light and Darkness, and Tales of Symphonia.

I'm currently playing: FF8 (I have nothing good to say yet...) and Tales of The Abyss and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World..oh and various Wii games...

I just finished: Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria

Favorite 'Genres' of music, movies,and books: For Music there is almost everything including Indie, Alternative, Folklore and Classical and Country, Hip hop, R&B, electronica, pop...

For books and movies its Comedy, Drama, Mystery, and Fantasy and sometimes tragedy but very rarely..

Honestly. I'd like to consider my tastes on all levels as eclectic and growing. I don't like genres but until the rest of the world agrees with me..I'll have to use them.

I used to have another account but I don't use it anymore. Actually, I'm very embarrassed by that account. The worse thing a fanfiction writer can be is 13 years old and doesn't have any understanding of story structure. Ahem. Anyway. Some other interesting factoids about me includes the following: I'm left handed, I have a powerful desire to play every single instrument, I'm pretty smart (take that how you will), I'm a Christian. I'm a girl of course, I'm 5'3, and I'm American.

While I didn't join any sports though I love athletics I was a member of various Clubs in high school. The Clubs I was active in during my high school career are 4-H (our sect is called Clovers In Action. The CIA), Skills USA, and the National Honor Society.

I have brown eyes, shoulder length (and growing growing growing hopefully) brownish/red/black hair though it looks black unless the sun is hitting it. My skin is a light golden brown shade and I wear glasses. I enjoy the performance arts, writing, and drawing. My career dream is to be a singer/actress/writer/artist.

Wanna know something else? I have a fascination with guy's hair and a thing for swords. My favorite hair color is red. Guys with nice faces, are tall, have lovely eyes, and slightly effeminate qualities are strangely attractive to me.

I do not label myself. I feel those that do are shallow and those that label others are idiots. I also feel that people that are always trying to be deviant and be a part of things for shock value need to grow up and get over themselves.

About Writing: I love humor stories and drama stories. I think any good humor story needs drama and any good drama needs humor. I believe in character development. I do not like to see a couple in a romance fanfiction having sex by the time chapter six rolls around. That is not realistic. It's just porn then. I don't like the Angst genre on this site because it's too narrowminded a term. When a writer attempts to manipulate the reader's emotions by making a story as "dark" and depressing as possible it usually just turns out irritating and extremely cliche'd. Emotions should pour out when it's time, they shouldn't be forced or planned. That's how I feel about that too. I forget who the writer was but she said something along these lines: "My Characters had (insert word here )without my permission."

That's a good thing no matter what a person is writing. The emotions and actions of your characters (whether they be original or created by someone else) should fit them and flow with the story. Never should they be forced or planned.

As a writer I accept critique with open arms, as long as it is intelligent and well founded . I can only hope that others share the same sentiment. When someone tells you that something is wrong with a work of yours they aren't trying to be condescending or attack you (unless...they actually are being condescending...). They are trying to help you improve. Because we all know if we want to become published writers we will have to endure critique from dozens of people, and lots of rejection as well. Right? Exactly. Now let's all have a bear hug.

Personally I'm a fan of pairings that are actually "cannon" (or only cannon in my own head...hehe) but there are some delicious exceptions that could totally BE cannon. These aren't for everything I like but just for things I would probably end up writing on FF.net I'm not a fan of what people on here like to call yaoi but sometimes I do take a peek. Or two...
