The most important thing, I think, is that you understand that I have worked as a peer editor in student centers, and so I am approaching your writing (if I've reviewed it) from that frame of mind. If I tell you it's terrific, it's terrific. If I tell you it needs work, I'm probably right, but I'm also looking at it critically, so don't cry or wax poetic (or unpoetic) about how mean I am. Consider what I'm saying, because it might improve your work.

There has been one LWD fic, at this time, that I have found to be very impressive.
It is He Said She Said, by iluvarcticmonkeys. It is, without a doubt, the best LWD fanfic I have read thus far; the characters have all (so far) stayed very much themselves, and the author has presented a believable case for a Dasey coupling--a difficult task, and one that I think she should be applauded for. This is only her second fanfic, but I think that we can expect her work to continue to improve and amaze.
