I attended AnimeCon at the Red Lion Inn in San Jose back in '91, and every AnimeExpo after that until '07. (Being a laid-off airline employee can sure crimp the anime lifestyle!)

Kanokon, Dog Days, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Spice and Wolf, (Especially the Koume Keito manga, and the novels!) A Bride's Story, (New series by Emma's Kaoru Mori,) Haruhi Suzumiya, (Disappearance Yuki Nagato is the best Yuki!) The Familiar of Zero, (Louise no Tsukaima. FINALLY! The manga's being released in English!)

If you like serious Ai yori Aoshi, I recommend Star Otaku's 'Blue Monarch.' (Rated 'M,' read with caution.) Star also has several RoD shorts that are fun to read.

An interesting AU XO RoD story is Cookie Pixie's 'Ashes to Ashes.'

For Maho Sensei Negima, there are many good stories, but several I recommend are; OkashiraShinomori's 'The Price of Truth,' Kafka'sdragon's 'Markham Chronicles Negima,' Ambrant Arandel's 'Child of Mine' and 'The Chosen,' and for KonoSetsu goodness, Houndemon's 'Trial By Heart.'

Two other stories I like are Tashayar-chan's 'Kenta's Confession,' (Karin,) and Mercaba's 'Understanding.' (DearS.) Both are rated 'M' thoough, so read with caution.

My current project is: Completing the continuity edit and creating a compendium for my 'Ala Alba in the World of Magic' story.

Current projects as of May, 2013: Additional chapters for 'Not always a Mage,' and using it as my vehical for putting out any little ficlets from Negima I write, and begining to officially publish a huge collection of stories that fall generally under the heading of 'Mage War.' (The conflict hinted at in several of my Negima stories.)

Beyond anime-manga, I also collect military history books and movies.

I recently came back from a trip to Charleston SC, and Wilmington NC. Went there to see Coastal Defense fortifications from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and later. Saw the recovered H.L. Hunley, as well as several other more modern ships. One day I want to create a 'Sand, Brick, Concrete and Steel' blog to display the opictures I've taken fro all the related places I've been to.

Recent favorites include: Girls und Panzer, Dog Days 2, Charger Girl Ju-den Chan, Lotte's Toy, The Ambition of Oda Nobuna, the Strike Witches Movie, and a few others.
